Is it bad I'd rather jump off a cliff?
Is it bad that it is genuinely more entertaining to throw myself off a cliff in a funny way than to actually play Trials? I understand that by doing this I am somewhat ruining what little integrity there is left in Trials but it's genuinely the easiest and more enjoyable option to complete the bounty. Does this make me a bad person? Thank you all for your time.

My only issue I had was when Stasis was out of control. Now trials is better and no I don’t win a lot but it’s sure nice beating great players once in awhile.

I mean at the end of the day you do whatever floats your goat, but I still firmly belive anyone that actually puts the effort in can do good in trials. I sucked total butt like most people when I started but as of recently I've started getting flawless most weekends that I try. Goodluck dude

Is it bad that self inflicting loses is more fun? Yes> Is it your fault? No. Trials and survival really need hard reworks. Trials is super sweaty cause very few want to go through that headache. idk why i try every weekend. Oh im insane thats right. maybe the wins should go to 9 instead of 7 but overall trials should have random loot that drops and win3/5/7 should have only good/god roll options (limited pools so you dont get pulse monitor 1-2 punch on a shotty or something). Bounties should be for set rolls and have goals like secure wins (maybe just on rounds) and get kills with an ar to get a overflow rampage summoner. Flawless should have a chest to buy different roll adepts with tokens instead of spamming tokens to saint.

Well, I haven't done Trials since September but I probably would have done the same thing if I were to play Trials because I don't want other Guardians to have the fun and pleasure to kill me instantly and when I feel humilated when I at least try and get no wins. I lost at least 83 matches or so and only won 10 times. I am no sore loser and don't really mind losing but when I lose over and over and not get at least a win here and there then there is a problem. I would like to do Trials again maybe with 2 other people that could help me then I would at least try and hopefully get those new Trials weapons. Overall I don't think it's wrong to jump off and not try.

2 RispostePvP in this game is the most unenjoyable experience I ever had in any PvP mode ever. I really wish they would just cut PvP entirely and focus their resources on actual content.

I mean no in the sense that the other team is going to be trying hard to win but it good practice so when you do match those players again you may just as well beat them and win yourself 😎

2 RisposteNo. Unless you are part of the Top 5% or so of players, Trials is a joyless meatgrinder where you get served up for the entertainment of better players. Even if you are part of that elite, its still not fun on PC because of the rampant cheating.

1 RispondiIt’s the teams responsible for the trials loot rewards system and matchmaking to blame. It was -blam!-ed since the beginning, I know it’s hard as a dev to make changes some time. But we really wanna know why not use the same system before rise of iron? It was working before, and if its a problem of needing to create new systems, acknowledge it sucks(like they did several times) and keep trying to change and show new systems until get it right. Yes we did have new awesome loot, but that only pleased the high tier players there is no incentive for low to mid tier players to jump on trials for the weekend. And because the playerbase is low for it e becomes more and more sweatier therefore making it almost impossible for low to mid tier player even come close to 3 win. Long story short, yes I will continue to kill myself, but when I see a team that are not a bunch of flawless/unbroken I will try to play if they are way above my teams level I just kill my self as well. Clutching is great when we play at the same level.

Problem is that people treat destiny pvp like its an eSport even though it will never be one so go right head. Jump off the map , i dont mind one bit

Lol, no do you. But if you try and even win a couple rounds it goes way faster. Round wins count toward end game bounties.

Its not your fault trials is full of garbage cheaters and pay to win accounts, its not your fault trials has terrible matchmaking resulting in a very stressful experience. Trials is the worse pvp mode ever brought back to destiny, I would’ve much rather play combined arms with vehicles again than bother with trials. You do you man, go do whatever makes you happy and lets you get the weapons you want. Majority of players that have the best trials weapons in the game are usually cheaters.

Trials either needs a rework or update, including Iron Banner or just scrape em. PvP is fun, despite its problems. People act like it’s the worst it’s been and honestly it’s far from the worst. Trials just adds an extra layer that seems sorta redundant and unnecessary.

I don’t think it’s bad on your part but yes it is bad. The playlist needs to be improved to make it both more accessible and rewarding for the lower skilled players as well as combatting recovs etc.

I used to be of the mind that would say "that ruins the mode" But honestly now i would agree. Trials is just a bad experience in general. D1 trials was something else. So much more rewarding. Can you believe you still have people stat farming 1 win resets? Wtf lol. Thats extremely sad. Enjoy your loot my friend. :).
