How many players are in Xbox series X ? 100?
How many players have upgraded to Xbox series X ? I have played with same players over and over again during hours, completing some bounties and playing lots of crucible and for days I have been matched with the same players, no matter if I go to tower, or do something else, when I go back to crucible I'm added to same teams ! How many players are left? 50-100? When we lose I'm putted on the winning team when winning putted on the losing team, back and forth, over and over again with the same people, at this point i have memorized their gamertags and play style.. What a boring experience..

If the game is connection based, the ones with the fastest connection to you isn't going to magically change because it's based on location. So, unless external factors intervene, you will always connect to the same people as the laws of physics don't randomly change. The Traveler and the Darkness might be paracausal, your internet is not.

Same here! It actually feels like I've been bracketed in with a small group of players and that's it! Shame they're mostly flawless/ unbroken absolutely zero chill mode easy loadout toting punks.

It's the same on the PS5. I'm seeing the same players all over the place. I could do a Nightfall or a Control match and then go to the Tower and see the same players in there.
