Let Linear Fusion count as Fusion kills in quests
It’s literally a Fusion Rifle - it even has Fusion in the name
Hundreds of quests over the years have said “Rifle” kills - and you can literally do it with Auto, Pulse, Sniper, Scout, Trace.. The list goes on
But Fusion can only be standard Fusion and not Linear?
It makes 0 sense and just penalises people who don’t use/like fusions
Personally I’d like to see all quests remove specific weapon types from them and just let people use whatever weapons they like - but as a step in the right direction - at least let Linears count for Fusion quests

1 RispondiYou forgot about all rifles should count for rifles too! Sniper rifle works for auto rifle, scout works for fusion rifle, linear fusion rifle work for scout rifle....

7 Risposteyeah that makes no sense. make scouts count as sniper kills, make melee kills count as sword kills, machine gun as auto, they’re all different guns

1 RispondiIf you dont like using a fusion rifle, why do a quest that involves obtaining one? The rifle portion of that quest too all of maybe 5 strikes which we need vex boss kills in strikes anyways. Now if the quest item was a submachine gun or linear fusion, then I get the penalizing players, but you are having to use exactly what you get at the end.

3 RisposteIt wouldn't be as bad if there were non heavy linear fusion rifles. Grenade launchers are the same, there's bounties for either heavy grenade launcher or non-heavy grenade launcher yet the mods for scav/finder etc count grenade launchers (heavy and non-heavy) as the same.

Agreed! Of all the weapons that need a harsh line drawn on them LFR aren’t one of em and should count as fusion rifles since they are fusion rifles. Just “Linear” ones.

3 RisposteThe bounties makes the distinction between linear and regular fusion rifles. The quest says fusion rifles. Dont know what’s lost on you. Use a Telesto and end it quickly.
