Tell that to every game that has that mechanic and isn’t exploited

What games do have that in a skill based ranking system?
-
When i played R6S it had that system
-
Well then there were a lot of games that people should have lost and got away with free.
-
Im just gonna ask for the stats where? I played it until around gold and never had that happen during that tome frame qthat

Modificato da SirHeadPoppington: 4/8/2021 7:58:07 PMYou never had someone on your team leave when your team was losing? The situation I described above? We don't need stats to know that that happens
-
Ive had people leave when they rage out, i said i never saw anyone abuse the systsem
-
Those were kind of two separate points. What I'm saying is if you were about to lose a game, and someone on your team leaves, you've just cheated your way out of a loss when you would have (and should have) otherwise lost points. People could easily team up to exploit that with one person leaving whenever they start to lose.
-
No because it would mean that we would have to wait until there restriction timer is up in order to play again and by then we may have already gained enough points again, and we couldn’t just keep dropping people until there was one person left
-
Modificato da SirHeadPoppington: 4/8/2021 11:06:07 PMFair enough, you couldn't exploit it very efficiently. The first problem is still true though, you still have people avoiding losses they should really have lost when someone leaves even if they aren't manipulating it.
-
But it rarely happens because of what happens afterwards a people cant just have one person leaving everytime they are losing
-
Yes I know, I said you couldn't exploit it efficiently. But it's still a problem even if you're not doing it deliberately with a team because the same thing happens anyway: people leave when their team is about to lose all the time. Then the rest of the team gets away with not losing anything.
-
Issue is your making a small thing into a big thing into stopping this feature that will help more then its abused
-
Modificato da SirHeadPoppington: 4/9/2021 9:47:31 AMNo, I think it's a big thing. It would definitely create more of a problem than it would help. The situation I've explained happens way more often than someone leaving for no reason, in fact I almost never see people leave for no reason anymore, that used to happen before freelance when someone saw a 4 stack and quit. I'm not talking about it being abused anymore, I haven't been for half of this conversation, forget about that.
