I realized during the contest mode of the Crypt raid that I really miss tanky, multi phase encounters. Currently we do way to much damage and enemies have way to little hp and it really kills those moments back in D1 when you would hide under ramps from the bosses in strikes or tell your dead fireteam to go to orbit and comeback in nightfalls. I really want Bungie to see this and do something about it. Like, the Lament is literally a more powerful version of the already powerful one combo sword Falling Guillotine. Lower our damage or/and buff enemy health.
tl;dr: We are way to strong for weak enemies

1 RispondiTheres room for improvement as far as damage mechanics. Unleashing with optimal dps loadouts in a Well isn't big brain plays or challenging, and simply increasing the health pool to force more times to do that is lazy. Remember Oryx? The guy you could never insta-kill in one phase no matter how OP you ever got in the future? The encounter that was at least 7 minutes long no matter how good you are? That was a step in the right direction
