Modificato da Christmas: 8/18/2020 7:13:24 PMI don’t doubt that the pvp is holding strong but you got a number in error there is not 970+ k people playing pvp. I keep a reasonable watch and have not seen anything over 550k in a very very long time and that’s probably a high IB at the start of a new light leveling season.

lol these numbers are waaaay off... it's been a 70/30 split for a looooong time. If anything the numbers are at least weighted due to the pvp requirements on the solstice armor
-
Where'd you get your numbers from?
-
Warmind
-
It’s been around 60/40 all season.
-
Yeah, and maybe the majority of people being counted as "PvP" players begrudgingly play a minimal number of matches while the "PvE" players spent hours doing all kinds of PvE? Hmmmmmmmmm...
-
That's destiny tracker, it's not true. It includes gambit, tower, and destiny 1 in those numbers too.

Modificato da thatdudeEd54: 8/18/2020 4:00:17 AMThats pretty damn close if you ask me. Usually the ration is about 70:30 or so. The numbers you put up are practically identical in playercount. To put it simply, pve will always be more appealing to players because its more relaxed and most of the time easier to complete activities at your own pace. It will very obviously attract the most players, as with any game that focuses more on pve Players who think like this dont like seeing the other side of things. Alot of players actually to crave and like competition and these numbers you put up show it. Nearly 1 million players touched crucible and gambit on thursday according to your numbers. Usually never happens even during the weekend. Thats good. Pretty much shows the community desires both pve and pvp

Numbers are false. Go to discord and type in !pop , 70/30 is still the split, like since forever

Modificato da RussellMania: 8/18/2020 12:33:14 PM
Numbers are false. Go to discord and type in !pop , 70/30 is still the split, like since forever
No, it isn’t. It’s it’s 482k PvP and 925k PvE... That’s 52%. And it’s been around 40% all season. Hard to believe you aren’t just making up numbers.....
-
482 + 925 is 52%? What are you on? 52% of what? You add 925 + 482 1407, 482 of 1407 is around 35% but even that's not accurate because it counts people who play both, as both. Theres a way to work it out by using daily pop, current real time pc numbers, and warnings for real time % per platform, mode etc but I can't do it now bcoz I'm on holiday, have awful WiFi here in the Scottish Highlands, and I'm tired after a 15 mile trek :(

The ratio in question was PvP/PvE, not PvP/overall. If we’re using the overall population, you’re still wrong. It’s 482k/1.03m, aka 47%. Adding PvP + PvE doesn’t take into account people who play both and takes the total up to 1.04m.

Your numbers don't make sense, who cares about PvP % of PvE numbers? but context here is the guy said this
1 million PvE players on Thursday 976k pvp players Anyone who says pvp is dead has no idea what they are saying, it's 50/50
This guy's saying it's basically a 50/50 split. When in reality, it's 1.4m, of which 492k are PvP, which is nearer 33% than 50% Still far from dead, but people who quote destiny tracker irritate me :)
-
It isn’t 50/50, but it’s far closer to that than you are claiming it is by continuing to claim falsely that it’s 30%. Again, the overall pop is 1.3 mil, not 1.4 mil. This comes directly from Charlemagne. 1.4 mil is what you get when you add the PvP and PvE numbers together, which doesn’t account for players who did both PvP and PvE. I’ve explained this to you twice now, so you can’t claim to be misinformed. If you continue to say it’s 30%, you’re just lying. If you want people to see your side of an argument, continuing to push a verifiably false narrative isn’t a good place to start. It doesn’t matter how you feel about it... Like it or hate it, the PvP population this season has been around 40% of the game’s overall population, and has been closer to 50% during events like IB and Solstice.

The % who actually 'only' play crucible is around 30%, often less. The % who just play PvE is around 70%, this is daily, players who only play 1 mode per 24 hours. Your numbers includes people who play both. The false made up numbers are the guys who post destiny tracker numbers as fact, when they aren't. Even your numbers of 490 to 925 is not much over 35%, I cba working it out exactly , I'm on holiday, but 500 to 1000 is 33%

This is the first time you’ve mentioned it. It’s also impossible to quantify that based on the data available. Only Bungie knows that.

Almost like people have to play that stuff for armor (I could tell if you were joking or not sorry if you were)
