To clarify, GM nightfalls feel like the gameplay I would have of playing Legendary on Halo where you slowly whittle away enemies while hiding behind cover. Builds don't exist because its all just "Do you have X meta exotic weapon/armor equipped?" and "Do you have the right champion mods". GM nightfalls are not tests of builds, they are tests of patience, and that isn't what Destiny needed. What GM nightfalls should have been are like Mythic Dungeons from WoW not Legendary from Halo.

5 RisposteI ran a warmind cell build that blinds enemies and reduces the damage you take. It was so effective the players I were doing it with were amazed at how trivial all the adds were using this build. Is this build needed to complete the nightfall? No. Does it make it much easier to do so? Most definitely.

3 RisposteModificato da whiskeychaser: 4/28/2020 5:15:51 AMHave you run one yet? They are a test of preparation, planning, and skill. It's more fun than the old d1 nightfall. The last thing you want is to lose your revives during the boss fight, so you can't be too patient.

7 RisposteModificato da Frateris: 4/28/2020 6:20:14 AMThat's really interesting...I didn't realize that Halo had Grand Master Nightfalls. Instead of complaining about what shouldn't be "The Meta this and Meta that" get good. Grand Master Nightfalls aren't hard, they take patience. If you really feel that bothered by "Meta gear" simply figure something out that works for you or just don't do the activity period, it's completely optional. Grand Master Nightfalls are meant to test your capability of a fireteam that you choose, being people you know in person or have met during the life cycle of Destiny as a whole and blend well with in game. You can't compare WoW or any other MMORPG to Destiny. They're two entirely different genres. That's like comparing a snake to a garden hose. Furthermore...From what I've seen, you're not even 1025 base to do the new difficulty Nightfalls in the first place.
