Banned wipe just exposed snipers.... loool (on Twitter)
I’m not sure I can post links.... but after seeing that video there is absolutely no defending these crutches anymore.... they are the least skilled weapons in the crucible and the most oppressive.... erentil takes more skill than sniping..... if they behave like that under flinch y’all have to add a descope mechanic

3 RisposteWe really have 3 options at this point: 1) use D1 special ammo economy. Many will love it, many will leave the game. 2) Stop special ammo boxes from dropping from defeated guardians. Kind of a middle ground, some will still leave the game because they don't know how to fire a primary gun. 3) Leave it as is. Those who don't like it can get over it or play something else. I'm Switzerland on the matter, let's just pick one and get over this issue once and for all.

2 RisposteI agree make snipers act like they were in halo. The descope mechanic will be a great addition because right now I would two Burst some rand with high cal rounds and they still headshot me. I do everything strafe, slide through doors and use high cal rounds to try to counter snipes still doesn’t do anything it sucks I have to do all this just to dodge a snipe.

The flinch mechanic is on all guns. Sniping still takes more skill than using a fusion.

1 RispondiSnipers are way easier to counter than your beloved erentil or a shotgun. But the snipers are the crutches but not an erentil... sure thing bud. Use them and see for yourself and stop getting your opinions from the youtubers

1 RispondiYou forgot to put the weapon archetype.... shotguns are low skilled. Smart shotgunning and not aping is high skilled. Sniping is high skilled at higher levels of comp and at game 6 and 7 of trials.

I started sniping, it's been going really well. Can't use a hand cannon yet but oh well. Honestly the game is doing well In my opinion. There is two ways to defeat a sniper, snipe, or close the gap. I know i dont agree with you, but Im not going to berate you for having an opinion.

The funny thing is people keep defending sniping and saying it takes more skill. Try being successful in trials with a fusion that's not jotunn. Way harder than sniping.

Nah. Erentil, until it got nerfed, was just handheld without a cooldown and 70m range.

Pretty sure that’s how all weapons in D2 work with flinch. Definitely with hand canons as well, haven’t tested other stuff.
