So it’s no secret people don’t like this season so far. The non pvp content is lacking, etc etc. I’m horrible at pvp. I don’t stand a chance of ever making it to the lighthouse. Ever. But I got a team, and I loaded up trials. I ground loss after loss and a couple bounties and scraped 10 tokens together. I fly to the tower and make the long trek down to saint and what do I find? I need 3 wins on a single ticket in order to turn in my tokens. What kind of crap is this? In d1, even casual players could get trials rewards by grinding bounties. I’ve never been to the lighthouse once but I had a full set of trials weapons and armor with good rolls. This new system is unbelievably unfair to casual pvp players. If a pvp sweat wants a raid gun, they can get 5 pve players and load in and with some difficulty clear the raid. It may not be enjoyable for them, but raids are designed to be beaten. But if I want a trials gun, at this point I’m going to have to pay for a carry. I have no problem with them reserving some things for elite players, but this is a whole collection of weapons and armor I’ll never be able to get and that’s just wrong.

1 RispondiRaids and Trials should be more inclusive for the health of the franchise. The issue with Destiny is that they do not seem to know how to grow and keep a player base. Having a game that focuses on people needing friends that play, content locked to group only, content that deters new players from participating and uninspired grinding is fine when you have a large loyal player base but reality is that this game has been losing players in large numbers for awhile. The current model is not appealing to many gamers. Continuing to design around the belief that there is an endless amount of new people willing to buy this game and stay playing I think is what could be the death of this title. There does not seem to be any real leadership at the top other that throw random stuff against the wall and hope something sticks. Veteran PVP and PVE players should welcome creative ways to include new players and not spend time trying to discourage them if they want this game to survive.

1 RispondiYou seem like a pure pve player. You CAN NOT complain about a mode being hard because its simply PvP if you cant handle it thats on you, PvP and PvE differ GREATLY endgame wise. You are not entitled to have everything in the game you have to work and practice in pvp to get what you want.

1 RispondiI like it. It keeps all the bad players out.

1 RispondiThis might be Bungies way of making you try and improve as a PVP player? Some people will take up the challenge, but some will fold under the pressure. The question is, which player are you? The strategy i plan to use for 3 wins is reset my mercy card until we get 1 win and then you get 4 chances to get 2 more wins. Should be pretty doable. Dont forget that tokens expire if you dont use them. Dont grind bounties unless you can earn 3 wins. Do you want PVP tips?

They have to stop listening to that oompa-loompa Luke Smith

Not anymore.

20 RisposteAgreed. That’s the main weakness that I see in how Bungie structured the return of Trials. What Bungie should have done if they earned to keep non-sweaty players engaged is what they did in Y1 D1 Trials. There were TWO sets of Trials armor. A set that dropped randomly at the end of Trials matches. Win or lose. So everyone who plays gets a shot at that armor, and it’s a reward for not rage-quitting. But then there was second armor set and the weapons that you could only get by winning and completing Trials Bounties. The gear was distinctive enough that there was no confusing which set was which. But having everything in the event locked behind a skill wall (wins) is really going to turn off most people to the event after a few weeks. Then Trials will get super sweaty after everyone else gets chased out.

At least you can get loot without having to go flawless. 3 wins can be achieved if you are playing smart

1 Rispondi...at this point I'm starting to wonder if Bungie intentionally tries to sabotage Destiny 2....?
-
Trials has never been fun, and it never will be. If bungie decides to lock an exotic behind even a single win, I’m quitting this game for ever

3 RisposteModificato da SAVAG3 B3AR: 3/17/2020 2:14:47 PMWorst part is you have to do it just to turn in tokens. It's IB all over again.
-
The reason you had people turning in tokens in d1 for rewards is there were two different gear sets. 3 wins us nothing to get you can literally win one lose one to 3 lmao are you kidding
-
Maybe D2 is just not your game! I enjoy destiny and don’t take it seriously. It’s a great distraction with everything going on around the world.
-
There are rarely pvp sweats who are incompetent enough to rely on pve players to clear a raid. Or atleast I’ve never met an unbroken who couldnt clear a raid encounter.

@cozmo @Bungie Reply to some real Feedback and not good coments

4 RisposteModificato da NYC_InfamousNick: 3/17/2020 7:17:34 PMIt requires three wins because you literally would not be able to get gear without the 3 win reward. Saint only gives you duplicate rolls of Armor and Weapons you’ve already received, so if they allowed you to cash in your tokens now you would literally get nothing in exchange. If you’re not good enough or of sufficient light to get the bare minimum of 3 non-consecutive wins without losing 4 times maximum (because mercy passage forgives a loss), Trials tokens aren’t your biggest issue.

1 RispondiIf you’re not good at pvp then why play trials just to get butt hurt 😂
