I can't speak for everyone else, but there are two reasons I don't do the raids:
1. LFGs suck
In my experience the LFGs are like a step backwards for solo players trying to find groups. Most posts are "Must have 50+ completions" or "Must have X weapon" or "No newbies ".
The times I have played with random groups have been super toxic (mostly). People threatening to kick you if you make a mistake or people getting mad that you didn't watch an in-depth guide on youtube beforehand.
I got lucky with the Last Wish. I managed to find a good group and we were able to do a couple of raids. Other than that, I did the regular Leviathan with my (now-dead) clan. I have not done any of the Leviathan sub-raids or the Scourge of the past and I probably never will.
2. The loot is not worth the time
This is pretty self-explanatory. Why would I waste so much time for a chance to get loot when I could do other activities in the same time frame and get more loot that way? At least give us protection from repeat drops in the raid or something.

Join a new clan. Leave your dead one. STOP MOPING AND GET OUT THERE GUARDIAN! no seriously join an active clan. It’s much much more reliable than any lfg. Way better for sherpas too.
