Service revolver
I have heard from my friend that you have to unlock the service revolver before it can randomly drop. Is this true? If it is, then is there another way to get it other then doing the 40 strikes? If not then, how would I farm it?

Check in your collection to see if it's unlocked. If not you need strikes, use the burn, revelry buffs and run past enemies to farm fast.

You need to either have unlocked it in Warmwind, or do the 40 strikes to unlock it. Once unlocked, it ONLY drops from vanguard token rank-ups or daily/weekly vanguard milestones. Pain to farm, but the best way is speed farming Lake of Shadows with a coordinated group.

With a good group the lake of shadows strike can be speed farmed in minutes, and when all are dropping vanguard boons each run that helps as well. I ran a with a random group, Hunter, Titan, and Warlock (dropped a rift) and we melted the boss with wardcliffs.

If you got it back in season 3, you dont need the 40 strikes. If you didnt, better get to grinding

I believe you need to play 40 strikes to unlock the year 2 version of this weapon.

3 RisposteIf you got the year one version of it, just keep on turning in Vanguard tokens with Zavala in the chance to get lucky. If you didn’t unlock the Y1 version, you gotta do the triumph to unlock the service revolver for Y2. Then repeat turning in tokens or get lucky with strike rewards
