Lunas howl and Not Forgotten need a nerf
A weapon that:
Takes little to no recoil/flinch when being shot
Is deadly accurate with extremely high stability
Has the highest time to kill that other Pinnacle weapons cannot achieve (Excluding crucible weapons)
Makes better players better and widens a skill gap between being good and having a weapon
Ruins the overall game experience for those who don't have it
A weapon like that, needs a nerf

Interesting how mostly console players want them nerfed or removed. Truth is the aim"assist" is more like aimbot on those weapons and that's the problem with them. That's not to say I don't want them toned down here on pc. Actually I'd like all aim assist removed. It's easy to tell apart a good player from a shitty one here, more so streamers. Bullet magnetism is one thing considering the crap net code and peer 2 peer system we have to deal with but outright aiming for you while you spam a gun is the real problem.

Just tone down the aim assist heavily on console. This will keep both sides happy, and making the weapon high risk, high reward.

You're not wrong. You can't counter those guns all too much when you're hitting 4-stacks of them in Comp. Shit I just want Fabled and I can't even obtain that by just playing. I don't want to PAY to get backpacked to getting these guns. But that's what I'm feeling pushed to do one of these weeks. This is the EXACT same problem D1's Trials weapons had. Pinnacle weapons(and the stupid HC/Shotgun meta[anyone remember Palindrome, Matador/Felwinter's Lie?) HCs somehow either need extra flinch added or need a damage falloff. You shouldn't be getting sniped by HCs when you're either using PRs/Scouts/Bows which are INTENDED for range. HCs should not. I get so heated on this topic with how shitty Comp is. I hate getting owned by 4 stack LH/NF, DRBs after being able to compete with another team using random weapons.

9 RisposteJesus christ enough of the crying about -blam!-ing Luna's and not forgotten I hate destinys PvP in general but those PINNACLE weapons DONT NEED A NERF I dont have the guns I wish I could like destinys PvP but it just wont happen they can be beaten out by several weapons.. When i decide to play pvp whether its comp or qp i have no issues winning gun fights against them at times ... They are the top of the line PvP weapons if you arent good enough to get the guns than tough shit the people who are shouldn't be punished for those who suck... And for those who did paid carries it doesnt make a difference if you suck at PvP those guns won't magically make a person better.. Why don't you -blam!-ing cry about the overabundance and over reliance on heavy in all game modes except for mayhem .. Complain about something meaningful not some bs because you cant figure out how to outplay a Luna's or NF

The hipocrisy of Crucible players is amazing. Bitched about Thorn in D1 Year 1, Bungie nerfed it. It comes back in D2 and its still underpowered (Yeah, makes total sense, a weapon that kills guardians is not very good at killing guardians). Then we have LH and NF and they haven't bitched about it to get nerfed once. (other than the *insert gagging sound here at a later date* casual players) Total and utter hipocrisy.

Just offer a different version available though quickplay. Just name it something different like Luna's Yelp or Luna's Whine and make it permanently pink or something. After everyone has it and it still doesn't magically let u win every game the nerf talk will die off and bygones and blast furnace and shotguns and the recluse will be "the new op weapon killing crucible". The nerfs need to stop unless it's actually broken aka Nova warp or one eyed mask or full auto doubling fire rate.

I would be okay with the nerf as long as it gets some sort of bug fix. Magnificent howl sometimes doesn't proc or disappears after three headshots

The thing is man it’s not that dominant, there are other weapons with quicker TTK’s and it’s likely you’re losing to people who would beat you whether they were using Luna’s or not.

1 RispondiI’m a casual player and that was the most grueling grind I’ve had in Destiny to obtain that gun. To nerf it would be a slap in the face. It’s not as OP as you think it is. If you’re not good with handcannons it won’t make you better lol. You’re just mad cuz you get killed by it. Learn to counter it.

3 RisposteBefore nerfing them I’d prefer to see recoil adjustments to the other handcannon archetypes and see how that alters the handcannon environment. We’ve seen the difference between PC and Console and how the meta is different. In those regards there is no need for a nerf but a balance towards the other handcannons.
