If you are one of the jack wagons out there saying "derp just don't infuse until you reach max light derp" you are just not getting it.
That isn't a solution or a fun way to play. It is the equivalent of shrugging at a stupid idea and saying "oh well what can ya do?"
Also, just as dumb is the "infusion cores are easy to get"
No, they aren't. Getting cores on a regular basis is multi-step torture:
Do dumb activities on a lonely planet for ghosts.
Get a dumb bounty and sit on a planet doing nothing but watching for an HVT to pop up.
Hope to get a shot at at it.
The bounties should be obtainable with planetary materials or glimmer. And the bounties should be in game activities or events.

Modificato da XguyExtra: 3/12/2019 11:31:45 PMYou're trying to get cores from High Value Targets? OH NO NO NO NO NO. Maybe you should do more than stop infusing your weapons.
-
If people are upset about the grind to get cores, don't play some of these single player games like AC: Odyssey. They would literally shite a brick if they saw how much it is to upgrade armor and weapons every few levels.
-
Modificato da reenry: 3/12/2019 11:11:25 PMSince your guy’s complaining and all the power increases can be accessed from day 1 all I need to do for now is playing gambit and teir 1 reckoning until I get upgrades and proper light. I just have higher gear at 660 while I am sitting at 650 playing activities with no disadvantages. If cores were out of infusion I would just infuse that gear and never change gear making the leveling process worthless. Thanks casuals for making the grind 10x easier for me, I never have to equip a higher light gear for like two weeks.
-
literally have 354 cores just from playing the game
-
Go ahead and continue to waste your time on the forum then with these petty complaints because they aren’t taking them out completely. It’s called adapting. Enjoy :)

5 RisposteI don't have a single piece of masterworked armor... NOT ONE. Cores go to the weapons I want to masterwork but are too rare to spend on armor. THAT RIGHT THERE tells you there's a problem. What I hate most about this is that the community has overwhelmingly spoken out against MW cores for infusion... yet Bungie has dug their heels in and won't budge. Things like this make me realize that there is a fundamental problem over there in leadership.
-
3 RisposteThe thing that annoys me about this whole thing is, is why? Nobody asked for this infusion change. Yet, Bungie added it. That's the main thing I'm mad about it
-
17 RisposteInfusion cores are one of the things keeping people from having everything power leveled immediately. Of all the stuff that I've got fully masterworked, they're all weapons. The rest of my cores I spend to keep my Orpheus Rig at light level while I'm working towards 700. If they removed cores completely without something to keep us from powering through everything, then we would be right back at D2Y1. I've got all of the exotics two weeks from launch, I'm max light and I'm wondering just why I keep playing. Until I've gotten to max light, I go to Spider, buy my two daily shards, and if something higher light drops, I infuse my Orpheus Rig. Otherwise I just keep stockpiling until I either hit 700, or I have a weapon that needs jumped to light level.

8 RisposteSucks that we want to run gear we like instead of running edge transit and vestian dynasty Stupid idea bungle, really stupid Bungle forcing new meta, got a feeling most won’t run it
-
1 RispondiThe simplest solution to this whole mess would be to bring back armor materials from D1. Then remove cores from infusion. To infuse armor you would use armor mats, planet mats, shards and glimmer. To infuse weapons you would use weapon parts, planet mats, shards and glimmer. Increase the amounts of each if necessary. People who can’t no life this game just can’t feasibly get all content done plus go grind for cores. This way makes so much more since than the bullshite that we have now.

4 Risposte(Sorry for bad mobile format) I may not play as much anymore, but I still have two questions I’d like to have answered: 1. what is the point of the cores? They feel like they were made to punish people for infusing too much, but where’s the problem with little Jimmy constantly Infusing so he can wear his favorite helmet without having a loss in power level? 2. why do people defend the cores so vehemently? I personally find it pretty pointless of a grind, only there to artificially extend playtime, so I’m genuinely curious why people will defend the cores with their lives
-
1 RispondiDon’t infuse... wait until you get to a higher light level. That’s what most of us do.... waaahhhh
-
1 RispondiNot gonna lie, reported DMG for disrespect. :P It was: a) Your standard bungie non-answer. b) His answer was to encourage me to do the things that suck most. Very disrespectful. :)

Yeah the cores are a pain in the ass to get. But you can't infuse anything anyway if you don't get higher light gear. After they said they were going to fix the issue with not getting upgrades for "powerful rewards" today, I just completed my first challenge for the week and STILL got trash. Add to that an entire season based on playing Gambit nonstop and I'm getting tired of it real fast.

51 RisposteYou can farm 20-30 an hour. I've got 200 for a rainy day and loads of fully masterworked gear. I don't know what you're complaining about. Cores aren't hard to get. Solutions are out there aside from the "don't use them" option. Also, if people are posting tips and advice it's because they're trying to help. Your post is basically you complaining that players are looking out for one another and sharing strategies for dealing with a broken resource system that Bungie refuses to acknowledge.

2 RisposteModificato da mikes5673: 3/12/2019 7:41:31 PMI have the opposite problem at the moment. I've got 164 spare cores and can't make up my mind which gear to spend them on. Probably my Dreaming City gear or whichever I use for Gambit, as those are my main activities. Apologies for being "elitist scum" or "right in the with the developers" or any of the other insults listed below in the comments because I play the game as intended.
-
3 RisposteYou can infuse all you want. But if you infuse all willy-nilly like a moron. Then you won't have cores. It's pretty simple
-
10 RisposteModificato da Hatter: 3/12/2019 6:50:18 PMThese really aren't hard to grind for. In an hour yesterday I netted 20. Y'all are a bit lazy. I just did strikes, used some of the mattes, did a couple bounties and dismantled stuff. Seriously if you just play then you get them rather fast.
-
This is how infusion should have been from the start. It was far too lenient before cores where required, costing you basically nothing to bring something to max light level.
-
1 RispondiDoes anyone else hear a baby crying? I sure do. Anyway... Don't infuse meaningless items. I get plenty of Enhancement Cores. Sounds like you're doing something wrong. Probably infusing anything in sight, which you should immediately stop doing. The game shouldn't cater to your omega-casual complaints.

6 RisposteI wish I had more to spend my cores on. I have a shit ton just accumulating in my inventory.
-
Don’t infuse.
-
It's not a dumb idea, it's just been done totally wrong. I was doing their sure fire method for getting a ton of cores and got up to twenty I think, but that's only because I got no useful drops for almost two weeks. I'm back down to 2-3 now that new stuff is out again. I tried just using whatever I got and it sucks. I just get smgs. That's super not fun until they fix those. How you don't get one core with every milestone is beyond me. Either that, or one for every purple you dismantle. I don't just use the same three guns on the characters and this is throttling the shit out of my experience.
