So...at least one of them seems to think we killed Cayde could they be the next enemy? One that comes from within?
Edit:
Also the whole thing related to Cayde...Wtf? Like how stupid can they be?
-
1 RispondiAnyone else loving how dark destiny 2 is finally getting ?
-
Look as we can all see the Tower is having troubles keeping leadership, they haven’t elected a new Speaker and the Vanguard is drowning in grief and confusion...
The whole leadership is crumbling....
-
10 RisposteWhat's interesting is that this story involves a Warlock order. We never get something like this involving a class-based organization. Like, what if the Peacekeepers have replenished their ranks and they get involved in all of this?
-
I say we launch a preemptive strike. The drifter can help. Launch loads of taken with thorns on them, and e take out their leaders.
-
The praxic order is f^cking stupid. Detain my *ss you f^cking c*nts
-
5 RisposteThe Drifter's playing everybody for fools and this is exactly the sort of thinking that his character would love to see. Doubting the city, the light, the guardians, everything related to it. Opens up the possibility of doing "business" and drawing in more... colleagues.
-
If she comes after me, well, let’s say she won’t make it back to the city
-
12 RisposteI personally see them as a Private Investigator. When investigating a crime, everyone is considered a suspect. We know we’re innocent, so we have nothing to fear. On the other note I like how the Praxic Order is pointing out the drifter is harnessing the Dark and bringing it up at the consensus. (That, and the fact that the drifter’s okay with almost an entire fireteam going dark just to test out gambit prime is why I’m siding Vanguard in the allegiance quest)

1 RispondiModificato da Corrick II: 3/5/2019 1:15:29 AMI seriously wish I had the option in game to just -blam!- off and leave whenever some NPC throws shade at me, after I’ve literally killed every bad thing that has come at the Earth and saved everyone countless times. Zavala, Ikora, the Forge lady, the Queen, that jerkoff on Io. They can all go straight to hell and deal with it themselves if they don’t like how I do things. And now this bullshit murder rap (which makes no sense at all, narrative team). Forget it. Clean up your own messes, assholes. I’m going on vacation. IRL, It’s a little ham fisted to throw us a “twist” and make us the focus of Cayde’s murder investigation. I’d love to be a fly on the wall in their narrative meetings, if only to get a good laugh.

2 RisposteModificato da foxburton99: 3/5/2019 4:11:16 PMAunor’s job (and the job of the entire Praxic Order) is to keep the Darkness from tainting/destroying the City and its Guardians. This includes investigating any death of a Guardian that involves complex or mysterious variables We most certainly will not end up fighting the Praxics, but Guardians are better at killing Ghosts than almost anything else in the system and our Guardian has done business with the Drifter, so the Praxic Order is perfectly within reason to question the role we played in Cayde’s death, especially seeing how none know us personally or were there to witness the fight

54 RisposteModificato da Grays_KS27: 3/4/2019 6:07:35 PMThey’re exploring all the options. As the Warlock said: they have no idea how the Scorn had a weapon that could kill a Ghost. The Hero of the War, however, is known to have such weapons. The Hero is also the only person alive who saw Cayde’s death, now that the Barons and Uldren (technically) are dead. Petra wasn’t there when Cayde died, and she is not on good terms with Zavala, so I doubt she gave the Vanguard any information. She wouldn’t have had any helpful information, anyway, in this situation. All the City has is the story the Hero told them and Sundance’s feed. But how did the Scorn get that bullet? We, the players, know we didn’t have anything to do with it. But where else would the Scorn have gotten the bullet? All the Praxics know is what they have from Sundance’s feed, and that the Hero was there. And who is the only person the Praxics know with easy access to Devourer bullets? The Hero. And who was there when Cayde died? The Hero. And who killed everyone else who witnessed Cayde’s death? The Hero. Seems awfully suspicious.
Get your spinfoil hats on and prepare to see the other perspectives, kiddos! We’re going for a ride!
The hero of the Red War lives long enough to become the villain. And it’s only been 5 years😂
-
The Praxic Order are a shame to Warlock’s, with how absolutely stupid they are.
-
Guess it depends on who we side with. Vanguard..they leave you alone. Drifter...you're on their shitlist. It'd be nice to have actual story consequences in this game. Which is why I was a little disappointed to hear TLW ''CHOSE'' us. Personally I see this as a good step.....and a further reinforcement of my belief of D3 having PvEvP with Faction Wars.
-
The only thing you need to really really REALLY UNDERSTAND about the praxic order is... Anyone dumb enough to go against the oldest to date Order of Warlocks in the Last City will find my gun pointed at them and I will pull the trigger. There's this unwritten rule about guardians... you want to dab in the bad stuff? Maybe use it against the masters? Ok. Good luck. The moment you say that order is a problem? You permanently weaken the Last City. Talk about the fastest trial in the history of the Last City...
-
No you fool. Aunor believes a certain someone helped in Cayde's death. She believes that someone is the Drifter.
-
8 RisposteNah, this is a lead up to the allegiance quest coming out on 3/12. We will have to decide between the drifter or the vanguard. Somehow the drifter will get tied into Cayde's death, like Cayde said would happen to him for teaming up with him and getting Gambit started. Now the question is, how much is the story going to go in terms of whether the Man with the Golden Gun (Shin Malphur) appears. Cayde: This one's for the fellow calls himself The Drifter. You did warn me running with you would put a target on my back. Guess I'm in good company though, huh? After all, never had any fun without a little risk. That's the whole idea with the operation you're putting together, ain't it? MY idea by the way. Had it, like, a million years ago, back when you were still handsome. So, uh, you're welcome. You know, getting that up and running means coming out of hiding - giving you-know-who another shot at you. Hope I was around to see THAT showdown. Personally, my money was on the guy with the Golden Gun. But hey, what do I know? I'm dead.
-
2 RisposteIf they try to arrest me, then I won't hesitate to show how capable I am to break a few skulls. If anything this is only reinforcing my choice to go with Drifter in the Allegiance Quest. The Vanguard and their extensions (IE Praxic Order) are considering us a liability and threat. Threat this bitch! *Throws a punch at the monitor and breaks it* ......oops.
-
Eh I think they just secured me being a guy siding with the Drifter. Gotta fight dirty to win easy in a war without rules.
-
I get the bullet and what not but blaming me/us seems to be a stretch tbh especially when you already question the drifter yes we play gambit but it's not like we are friends but still why jump from he is the bad guy to us idk
-
1 RispondiI’m surprised how they aren’t taking in our association with attempting to help Taeko-3 into consideration.
-
4 RisposteWell I'm sure if we just gave her our Ghost's recording of the event then I'm sure two things will happen 1. She'll stop asking questions 2. She gets kicked out of the tower for persisting that we be executed for a false charge
-
-
4 RisposteI think the Praxics will just be in the background lore, without much effect on us or the game. They’ll sort through all this “Cayde’s death” business. We’ll see what happens, I suppose.
-
Praxic order? *loads last word Call me Wyatt Earp cause I’m about to lay down the law on these pansies
-
I’ll kill them with the drifter, he killed gods some little shot warlock wont stop us
