I don't know about you but I've stopped doing strikes. In D1 I did them all the time up to the end. I think that was because you're always chasing the strike specific loot that they used to have. Like what Nightfall has now. So my suggestion is this, 'retire' the nightfall specific loot and make those available to normal strikes. Design new nightfall loot for nightfalls. And maybe every other season you can retire another set to normal strikes and keep the nightfall stuff new and fresh. Thoughts?

In a way I like the way you are thinking, on the other hand the idea of having to do all Nightfall grinding again to get the new loot out of it is all but attractive. The idea of Destiny is that they keep feeding us new content which holds the new items and for doing this we have to regularly do old things again, now putting in new loot in the old activities would mean we either accept that we miss out, or we instead of grinding the new stuff are doomed to be stuck again in the old activities. No thanks. Strikes serve a purpose for those needing them for triumphs, bounties, quests or who need the engrams from the challenges to level up (which is relevant every time the level cap goes up. There is enough to do in the game please do not make us go back to the old stuff anymore than we already do.

Modificato da MindfulPizza: 3/1/2019 2:49:26 PMjust give use destiny strikes back and gear . nothing else . it so bull shit i know why half my friendslist never touch destiny 2 because of it . at time bungie do not want to make money , we as adults see why as gamers . talk any gamer over the age of 30 online and ask them there thoughts on destiny and if they buy the game for there kid also. nielson ratings can suck one . there on generation were now everyone alive playes video games , and 20year's in the 80's they are grandparents . that grow up on the nes and genny . it the video game generation with money left . PS can make gambit main stream if just let guardians have fun .

You know they're way too lazy to keep coming up with new loot for old content. That being said, they could retire the current NF loot to regular strikes and simply have a couple bits and bobbles to chase that's shared across every NF each season. Maybe like one weapon and a flair item.
-
Modificato da Whole Milk: 2/27/2019 9:39:02 PMThey could just raise the light level, put out weapons to grind for like the LDR, shadow price, etc. Then strikes are good to go. That's pretty much what bungie is missing because I don't play them cause they aren't very rewarding

6 RisposteI think we need more blue drops from strikes.
-
Personally I would like it if vanguard strikes to have chance to drop strike specific loot with random rolls and the NF just have a chance to drop a curated roll.
-
I wish strikes were a little longer and not "skip past all the trash, 1-shot the boss, and pull the slot machine loot chest at the end." I mean, it's fun to use the Hammerhead on heavyweight and void singe days for a few runs, but then it just gets ridiculous I like to actually play the game, not the slot machine.
-
1 RispondiStrikes are also too easy, bosses are killed in 1 seconds, even Nightfall's bosses killed in 15.
-
An idea I feel would be amazing is something kind of like age of triumph raid loot in D1's Year 3. Do the normal strikes for the actual loot, and then do the nightfalls and get a specific score for that loot to get an ornament for it that changes it. Say if they were to add the Cloak of Taniks back, turn the strike into a nightfall, and then people who want the ornament for it could go into the nigthfall version and get the ornament. And strike specific weapons the same way. Maybe 100k for the weapon ornament, 150k or higher for the armor ornament.

Strike specific reskins *

1 RispondiI think the nightfall could have a exclusive armour piece like a strange terrain warlock robe, exodus crash hunter cape, will of thousands titan arms, etc. That way the nightfall has a visible bragging point and maybe have ornaments or glow effects that show your score like if you get the 100k it glows green 200k blue 300k purple 500k gold (obviously score numbers would be adjusted for this its just an example) so you get to show off how high your score is and theres a tangible reason to push yourself. Also more fashion choices are nice 🙂. That way you could put guns into strikes so you can chill in the strike playlist hunting for strike specific god roll guns.
-
I agree, I think they should add strike specific loot again and better, different loot for nightfalls, however I do think Strike bosses need to be made harder. Their pretty easy right now.
-
Yep. Bring the nightfall specifics into the regular strikes loot pool, just make them rare.
-
1 RispondiYeah I was thinking if tye nightfall weapon is up that week you should have to hit 100k for the weapon to appear in the loot pool from zavala so it can drop different rolls I grinded hollowed lair 23 times before I got my first mindbender during these 23 runs my 2 friends got it 4-5 times each and they got a few curated rolls too I got 2 eventually and got sick of it takes too long

3 RisposteModificato da hoppydied123: 2/27/2019 6:25:57 AMI've never gotten the militias, sea or silicon neuroma, cause I dint do nightfall, but I actually just grinded them solo and it was the funniest experience ive had in a long time.
-
1 RispondiInstead of retiring nightfall loot, they should just create reg strike loot. I run nightfalls all the time. Those of us that do should not be penalized to wait for them to create something we already have.

No need. And now everything is fine.

Strike gear, strike weapons. Imagine getting weapons or gear of the specific boss. It gives us more customization to look different. Then weapons, like in D1, more weapon options but make the weapons usable for PvE and for PvP so this only PvP weapon nonsense ends.

Yes, good idea.
