I share your sentiments sometimes... Now, some people here just love to whine about arguments from both ends- sweaty and casual alike. I no longer listen to them as it seems they want everything catered to them- and have no cares about the greater good in game. When it comes to Destiny, from my subjective view, you [b][u]NEED[/u][/b]: [b]1[/b] [b]A Clan[/b]: Be it 10 strong or hundreds strong, you need to network and find people willing to run endgame content and daily content with you. Like many games it is the people that secure you, things you thought you can never have are now attainable with more. I joined a wonderful clan recently, we are small and everyone is just now catching up. In a sense it is a new game for them as they stopped playing during CoO. Recently we got Shattered Throne done- I have NEVER done it and I had a blast. We got Whisper of thr Worm, and we are currently grinding out Reverie Dawn gear + Transcendent Blessings so we can do Last Wish. I also was able to complete the Leviathan Raid with them finally. [b]2[/b] [b]GOOD Weapons, god rolls or as I call them Rngesus rolls.[/b] If you get a god roll sweet, but if you get a Trust like me, not a god Roll, a decent roll and of course you... YOU LEARN how to aim at the head and use it, you can outgun a LH or NF user. I have done it 6-7/10 times each run. Also, get yourself a good Pulse. If meta is not your thing, the forges have a whole slew of weapons I see people naming outside of blastfurnace and jotuun. If not there keep collecting those exotics. They will drop. They are supposed to be rare af. [b]3[/b] [b]Breaks[/b] You are not bound to log in daily anymore. There are weekly milestones and daily ones. But the weekly are by far the ones that gave me great drops. I take breaks from this game- you ain't married. [b]4[/b] [b]Enhancement Cores[/b] No I do not have thousands, but I adapted to the economy via Spider thangs, scrapper, and maxing out my valor ranks. My goal is to masterwork 3 sets of gear and weapons to use. It gives me reason to log in- and something to look forward to. Just play, some weeks will be stale and some it will rain EC. Last Words... Yes content gets stale- most of the time you can finish all content within an hour or two. Dig into the lore, check out ishitar collectivr and wikis, look for cool shit that relates in game. Yes they need to improve but at the same time other games right now just do not have the same kick. I LOVE grinding for loot and seeing my loot in action. In a sense it is not balanced and will never be because the rarer loot is worthy of stomping. I hope you take a break, treat yourself, and have fun again. Feel free to message me on Xbone.
