after all that chaos during its release i am quite enjoying the game now tbh.

It still looks boring. After the bullshit that Hello Games pulled at launch, they deserve to go out of business.
-
I'm tired of games having to be out for X years until it's actually improved. There are no more games that are complete on release.
-
1 RispondiI don't think it's redeemed itself yet. It's better than release but it's still not very fun. I think they should try to ramp up the combat more. They should stop just having robots swarm you and have you fight deadly exotic predators. They should also fix up the gunplay so it's more fluid and snappy and less of just holding down the trigger and shooting a laser at a slow moving robot. What's the point of exploring if there's no risk or danger involved?
-
14 RisposteNo. Hello games should be shut down
-
I never bought into the hype to begin with. But i can always appreciate a great come back story.
-
In my eyes it redeemed itself after I got a refund for it
-
4 RisposteIt looks like a crappy copy of Mass Effect.
-
Is there really an option to turn off the farming and just build stuff?
-
I still think Elite is a better game.
-
I never played it before the latest update because it wasn't on Xbox. However, now that it is, I picked it up and am enjoying it pretty thoroughly. It can be as chill or as intense as you want it to be.
-
It’s gotten loads better but They’ve got an awful long way to go.
-
You guys make me want to buy it
-
1 RispondiHow is the replay value on it? Is it a game that’ll keep me coming back or is it a sit back and chill and fly around game? Both are fine, I just want to know what I’ll be buying. Comparison - sea of thieves is a sail around and chill game/Minecraft is a build and chill. Borderlands has a replay value of 9/10 and keeps me coming back because it’s actually fun.
-
no, i won't put it on my console again
-
Has it redeemed itself? I know the newest update pumped some of the missing features originally promised, and that the game has evolved quite a bit since it's launch, but it's been about a week since NEXT patch went out. I want to see what people are saying about NMS a month from now, 2 months, 3 months, etc. Will it retain its re-invigoration, or will it ebb like before?
-
It's definitely a lot better. I hope they keep working on it to make the planets more varied.

6 Risposte
after all that chaos during its release i am quite enjoying the game now tbh.
Short answer
yes
Long answer
yeppers
Funny story, my brother actually got it for 5 bucks before the update, and he’s now having so much fun with it. And since we share a steam account, I might try it out
-
6 RisposteLet's be real. It's not a TOTAL redemption, but the amount of improvements does make the game worth looking at again. There are still a lot of rough spots that need polishing, though. When I think of games that pull a total 180 and redeem themselves, Final Fantasy XIV is the gold standard.
-
I picked up NMS when Next dropped last month and I've played over 60 hours since then. Yeah, I'm happy with the update.
-
I’ll be honest.. I haven’t watched a single video on it except for the release trailers and haven’t played it. I’ll be getting it in the future now that it’s on Xbox because the concept of the game is amazing but I’ll wait until everything smooths out
-
Nope it’s another division to me. Not getting a second chance. Especially them for that massive lie of having multiplayer

1 RispondiModificato da ThyLordIntrovert: 8/7/2018 4:36:14 AMDidn't play it on release, recently a friend told me it's become pretty good, so I picked up a copy for Xbox and I've been enjoying it, it's something I can just hop into and relax with for a bit
i say a bit because the relaxation doesn't last very long, there's a reason I bought a fighter class ship
The price is my only big complaint, $70 (cad) is a bit much
-
Still annoying though!
-
Modificato da Fixit: 8/6/2018 10:09:14 PMThe concept of the game was always impressive. Kinda like destiny.... It still needs work before being redeemed all they really did was show it wasn't just a cash grab.

1 Rispondieh, it seems a common trend really of games coming out half assed and they "redeem" themselves eventually. Division was like that, D2, No Mans, just to name a few big ones
