Bump if you’d prefer new D1 content over D2 development
New D1 content plz because superior gunplay
Just add a vaulting mechanic to the game code, maybe bring Special ammo back to their glory & reduce flinch on sniper rifles and we’ll be golden, pony boy.
EDIT: The players of the Destiny forums have spoken!! (It’s a small sample volume, but it does SPEAK volumes).
I mean if WOW can release WOW classic & Runescape can release Old School Runescape with success, it’s a possibility 😂.

I was shocked at how many people I saw at the D1 tower compared to the D2 tower. You'd think this would be a clear message to Bungie and Activision that they have mishandled this series, colossally, But these days I imagine when the feedback comes in the Dev's just cover their ears and rock back and forth in a fetal position; waiting for the end. Boy, anyone who doesn't see it coming is blind. [spoiler]This latest scandal about Activision losing faith in the series is another nail in the coffin, I miss the old Bungie...[/spoiler]

The speed was the biggest thing I noticed; it's like my Hunter was on a mixture of cocaine and caffeine! AND to be able to snipe again!!! I mean I got domed more than I was dom'ing others, but fawk it was so fun to play. Hey Bungie; listen to your community for once!! I will NEVER pre-order another one of your games or DLC's again....EVER! D2 was such a disappointment. For those that love D2, I am glad to hear it, I just can't get into it. Something just doesn't feel right...can't put my finger on it, but I don't get the warm and fuzzies playing it. I would CRAVE D1....couldn't wait for Tuesday reset, but with D2....i'm all like..."meh, I will catch up next week".

1 RispondiThey'd have to roll back the last few changes to D1 first then yes.. D2 was continuation of bad decisions that started late in D1's time... but it ain't gonna happen, they have their heads to far up their bunghole.

What Bungie needs to do is bring back special weapons and heavy weapons keep the flinch where it is at for snipers or better yet return snipers, fusions, and shotguns to their glory. The weapon layout was not the problem with D1 it was the ones that didn't know how to play, there is always a counter weapon for every gun people just need to adjust their playing style if they are constantly getting killed. I will not lie I am horrible at PvP and I blame that mostly on several factors 1. being I am not a competitive person 2. I do my own thing and more often than not I am outnumbered 3. usually I have a crap loadout that really is not working so I switch to what works, just to name a few. Now moving on Trials is horrible I say this because our loadouts are now locked which is garbage, let's see if we are playing the mode ountdown and need to swap you're loadout to better assist you in it now you cant same can be said about armor. In D1 we could at least pick which PvP we wanted to do now we can not. The list is ever growing

1 RispondiI’m with you all the way. They should have never split from Destiny 1 in the first place. I would like them just to give all of our Destiny 1 content back. Trials, IB, SRL, and year 2 sandbox. The current Destiny 1 sandbox is trash. Let’s treat Destiny 2 like Mario 2. Forget it ever happened while we work on Mario 3.

23 RisposteThen why not just go back and play Destiny 1? Serious question. If you enjoy it so much just go and play it. Surely there's very few if any companies that still make content for superseded games? Can't imagine there's any upcoming dlcs for Assassins Creed.

1 RispondiRather just have Bungie switch a couple variables and fill out D2. The guns were fun, but D2 looks so much better, has such better level design, and I’ll never go back now that I can play in 4K HDR. D1 looks like 8-bit Nintendo.

5 RisposteThey need to stop work on D3 and instead focus on the following: 1. Add all of the D1 content/maps/weapons/ect to D2, and make it available on PC. 2. Add the D1 weapon slots in PVP and keep the current D2 weapon slots for PVE. 3. Change shaders for armor to be like D1, non-consumable single shader for all armor. 4. They can keep the weapon/sparrow/ship shaders as single use consumable and put that in the eververse, that wouldn't bother me as much. Doing that would save the game for me and bring me back to playing daily again. And then just keep updating and adding new content for the next 10 years to start with and see how that goes. Screw D3 I don't want another sequel. I don't want to go through all of this drama all over again with D3.

5 RisposteMy only issue with this is the pc community. You can't crap on an entire platform just because you want more D1 content, wouldn't it be better if D1 content was added to D2? We're supposed to be united here, remember that before you respond :)

Well, since the graphics update were... good, but not splendid, I rather have new content added to D1. After all, D2 is just a bunch of reskins, right?

Most used statement during D1 forums: GIT GUD (even though i never said it myself) Most used statement during D2 forums: REMOVE EVERVERSE (i also never said that either) Point being, people during D1 forums complained about gameplay and why this and why that (but about gameplay because they WANTED to play) D2 forums has nothing to do with gameplay and has to do with how come this guardian has the better lipstick, I want that lipstick too. Cosmetic aśs game smh (because the only endgame there actually is, is in Eververse) Like I said for a while now. I only play D2 cuz I love the mechanics of the game. But everything else in the game that's SUPPOSED to be the reason to play for, is garbage. Garbage in the sense that there's no reason to play it (not cuz it was designed bad). But we all know all of this already. Realistic people won't expect changes to come for another year (I'm on that list). Looney bin guardians expect change now and trolls, well, they'll just be trolling. This is humanity and this, my friends, is Destiny 2.
