Its like people just forgot the problems we had with base d1

128 Risposte>No DLC just base game >This game is garbage, I paid 60 bucks and I've beaten it already. >Paid DLC >How greedy are devs that they sell DLC and not just include it all for one price? >Free DLC, Microtransaction Supported >FFS! Microtransactions are so terrible! >DLC and Microtransactions >Literal head explosion. Adjusting for inflation, the current paradigm is in line with gaming in the 80s, with more content. Example: An N64 game in the late 90s cost 70 bucks. Adjusting for inflation that's around 100 USD. That's 100 bucks for a game with ZERO additional content, no extra areas, no updates, no bug fixes, and in some cases limited replay value. You can't have it both ways - you can't demand larger, more time consuming, and content laden games and not expect to pay for that in some fashion. Do you HAVE to buy DLC? No. There is enough in the current base game of Destiny to keep you playing. It has the same amount of content as a game such as Mario Bros. 3, you are just conditioned to need more. Does this game have issues? Definitely. But being jaded isn't going to help matters. In before salty people getting triggered.

3 RisposteI don't get why people are saying that Destiny 1 released with more content than 2, it was just as barren if you don't count the extra strike missions. Like anybody really cares.

1 RispondiModificato da BIGMAC103: 11/2/2017 3:42:24 AMIf this game wasn’t 60 bucks I think it would be more acceptable considering all the DLCs you have to buy on top of that...but that still wouldn’t be a good enough excuse for what we’ve gotten here. Now we are left with a overpriced, boring piece of shit that just keeps getting more expensive.

1 RispondiOld meme is old. And the funny thing is this was created way before it was at the level we are at now.

31 RisposteModificato da Grzzldgamer: 10/31/2017 6:52:55 PMLook, the Bungie that was established in 1991, that started the Halo games from 1999, that originally brainstormed the Destiney we heard about in 2008 (saw easter eggs in ODST), is not the same team or people or product we knew. It's a bitter fact, but the Bungie of now is a group of 760+ employees where there's only 20ish original Bungie folks left that answer to Activision. When Activision "took over" they changed the real free roam (see that mountain over there, you can go there! went away), they changed the story (they felt it too rich and complicated for the gamers), they cut up the original planned game into a game & 2 paid DLCs (yes, originally there were never going to be paid DLCs until Activision said so). It's all bitter facts. Yes, Sega was sued for millions because they took their shown product, sent it to a 3rd rate studio, dummied it down, released a sub-par game that broke "implied" promises, and lost a "bait-n-switch" lawsuit. Heck, my brother-in-law worked for Bungie when we lived in Bellevue WA. I actually saw, in 2007ish, Destiny concept art and "alpha" testing. But that is in the past people. The game we got, is the game we got. Love it or leave it. Stop holding onto the past reveals, promisses, and "what-ifs" of what Destiny was supposed to be. I believe the original Bungie team didn't over promise because they could have delivered. However, after 3 separate Bungie exodus' because of many reasons (*cough* Activision), the Bungie "team" that brought this game to us was an incoherent group. It's a game. That's all. Choose to play it. Choose to pay for it. Live with your choices. It is what it is.

8 RisposteThe video game industry is due for an inflation adjustment. That would put a base game at around $115. You know, since people have a problem with DLC and Micro Transactions.

Lol..that's -blam!-ed up Lmao

Lmao!!! This is gold. If I wasn't so sad - I would still be looking and laughing.

3 RisposteModificato da Shadow Artiste: 11/1/2017 4:35:31 AMLol, you’re all cute. Halo 3 and Reach shamed D1 in terms of content. Not even sarcastic.

More shitposts more. I hunger for shitposts

5 RisposteMany may hate what activision did to this game and their model may suck ass. But see it this way, we wouldn’t have a game in the first place without a publisher. I believe bungie also realized this when they sold their rights to activision.

55 RisposteModificato da Friendship: 10/31/2017 6:48:54 PMI get this is a joke But when did d1 become such a holy grail of gaming? Additionally Didn't it take $110 of dlc and 3 years for destiny to get what is being considered good?
-
EA is pretty much want that to happen. EA piss off at Dead Space series games and shut them down for good.

Just boycott burgers, dude!

75 RisposteDon't you mean the other way around for D1? Am I the only one that remembers how bad D1 was at release? It was completely reliant on you grinding your dick off for small gains. At least D2 has content. Fixing the end game is indeed important but isn't as bad as lack of content.

3 RisposteIf we really need a saviour then bring back Smoggy Pluto that guy was a real saviour

Jesus Christ xD

2 RisposteOk I'm not saying that breaking everything up in a game and selling piece by piece is ok bc I don't much like it either but when you really think about it as far as some dlc it's not all that egregious. Video games haven't really gone up in price in around 15 year (give or take a year or 2) everything else has though not to mention how much more time goes into making them. Considering consoles are already sold at a loss they have to make their money back somehow. I'm not saying that some companies abuse this but, not every company is out there trying to rob you blind

3 RisposteI do like bacon though :)

4 RisposteYou forgot that the salt and pepper were "overpowered", so they were nerfed. Now we're left with a bland burger and fries.
