Bungle want cash from PC players so they remove the player base numbers because the crash was real and it could hurt PC sales. Then they prelease a pr piece mentioning 'future' improvements.
And the fans lap it up like a dog being given last nights scraps whilst smiling away, oh so happy god has spoken...
It's embarrasing.

1 RispondiModificato da kindaSketch: 10/28/2017 8:03:25 PMBoth of those insults mean the same thing. Maybe you should expand your vocabulary. Also your just flat out wrong. You don't think the constant complaining from fans hurt pc sales? And big deal they removed player count a few days before pc launch. It was there the whole time before that. Weak post

22 RisposteModificato da Captain Tipsy: 10/28/2017 8:28:58 AMWhat most people don’t realise is this: Why all post ROI quality of life and other game modes were removed from D2? Answer is simple; Destiny 2 was meant to be the last expansion for destiny 1. Devs didn’t code any of post ROI stuff in D2 simply because it would have been there already! Instead, what we got was a unfinished and unpolished bag of SH|T Such a shame, and this community is now excited because we are getting something added to the game that should have already been there! 🤷♂️🤦♂️

1 RispondiI feel sorry for PC players when they buy destiny 2. It just turn crash and burn for them. I been there before in past.
-
1 RispondiDid you play D1? Also my conspiracy theory is they shutdown trials for 2 weeks to get people to buy and play D2 on pc.
-
Yet you stay on the forums and play destiny 2 weekly. Congrats, irony has been added to your inventory.

1 RispondiShut the -blam!- up already.

This video exactly expresses my sentiments https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ll7nJ6GJzjg

1 Rispondiits true~ when *the fans* see how bad the game was and they finally add stuff that should have been here on day 1 they will say bungie listened to them. in end there is less content than d1... that good old spinmetal farming is replaced with public events. pvp is dead to me as cant select playlist i want (probably since numbers in other pvp modes was so low). all in all d2 is nothing more of cash cow trying to get all the cash they can

Preach 🙌🏻

Ahh, the fanboys are back to downvoting your post. A week ago this would’ve had 500+ upvotes.
-
Honestly,it's just them trying to validate their purchase. I know I got -blam!-, and I sincerely hope for a better D2. But do I expect it? Nope. Sadly I'll see everyone at the first dlc. Wasted my money already so -blam!- me right?

2 RisposteIn relation to player base numbers removal, it was excellent, the timing, the excuse, simply a masterpiece, we know that it isnt 100% accurate but they may as well have written in there "we removed it because we didn't want to spook PC players with our dwindling player base" The news.... well, its is good news (how good it actually is, remains to be seen when it goes live), and it is good they finally bothered to say something, but seriously thanking them for it like we have seen in some posts? Thank you bungie for doing your job (PR is a thing) and trying to calm down your nearly rioting player base, I get the positive feedback idea, but come on people, are we serious? -_-

1 RispondiNo up votes? How embarrassing

Get off the forums already geezer.

5 RisposteDo you actually take pleasure in complaining about this game? Asking for a friend

5 RisposteViper, the "crash" was real but the "numbers" are still there. Only difference now is you don't see the visual representation of what is/was happening. That graphic was spot on but still, ppl will see what they want to see And that includes you. I'm not touching, with a 100 foot pole, the discussion about why Bungie does what it does. I've scratched a hole in my head, so I quit doing that. I will say things you consider facts are subjective statements. Things like game is dead is no different from game is awesome, just depends on fanboy %. You, my friend are NO doubt at 0% there. lol I am excited for a few things in CB's letter, but that still won't convince me to buy anything at all untilthat list is implemented. For me, fixed roll weapons are a deal breaker. If they do not completely fix that, I'll never even give D2 the time of day again. And as far as trustworthiness. Bungie the only thing Bungie has proven since launch is 1) when the numbers don't support their agenda, they suppress the numbers and create a "false narrative" propaganda machine, playing the victim card. The numbers are the numbers, they ARE factual. How one reads those data sets is up to each person. The numbers were worth keeping an eye on but the corporate damage control that immediately happened was way more head turning. That told me much much more about the importance of those metrics. 2)PC rollout. Simple ANYBODY who says it's ok to be insta/perma/banned for clicking the play button. Well, there are special places for special types of stupid. Go there. Eventually Bungie did the right thing by addressing the bans. I see the slippery slope Bungie is in here, they have preached the Dogma of "Bans are not discussed, not negotiable, and permanent." That wall was shattered, Bungie publicly showed their fallibility. That was huge for them. HUGE. What cracks me up is how they did it. 1st statement: we banned 400 players, only 4 From The BETA were reversed. 2d statement (update) we banned 400 players, a small group of "erroneously banned" players had their ban reversed. 3rd thing that happened to this "update" is Bungie removed the word "small" from that statement, now it just says a group. All facts/fiction aside, I trust Bungies leadership as much as I do the guy selling me a $5 Rolex on the street. CB's billets were spot on however and (imho) spoke to the yr1 D1 player base directly. When those are implemented, if they are, I'll look back. D2 world is well made (once again, imho) it's just boring as hell and I'm not about to ride around on my sparrow for hours at a time admiring their creativity. lol. We see Bungie, we do want a game worth playing though. And your facts are equally as subjective, just 100% the other direction as the fanboys. lol. You, without a doubt, have the right to voice them. I'll read them, I'm smart enough to read between the lines, both sides of fence.

1 RispondiModificato da NeoReaper82: 10/29/2017 12:41:38 AMThe destiny fanboys is the worst in gaming. They beat out the CoD/BF fans by a mile and a half.

1 RispondiModificato da MARS (Adept): 10/28/2017 5:09:27 PMIt boggles the mind to read complaints. Not from the OP posts mind you...but the reoccurring complaints from the same people about the OP posts. Use the MUTE button and you won’t see the posts on the main thread. You won’t even see the posters comments in other threads. 1) For those unaware of the mute button...you’re welcome 2) For those aware of the mute button and continue to read and reply to the said poster, I guess you really can’t fix stupid.

4 RisposteThank you! This is a great example of how to express your discontents with the game! In this post, lethal, you managed to hit every nail on the head. You: -Respectfully explained the problem -Explained how it is impacting you as you play Destiny 2 -Brought up a way to fix the problem and gave pros and cons to the idea. Thank you for giving a fantastic example on how the destiny community should act on the forums! Have a fantastic day!

We all knew the that destic**s couldn't keep from being destic**s for long. They took the first opportunity they got to jump ship. Don't worry, it'll repeat in a month or so after they've done everything there is to do in DLC #1. Meanwhile none of the actual issues in the game will be addressed.
