I can't believe people are ok with this and act like the cold heart exclusivity is a good idea, imagine if at Destiny 1s launch one of the exotics was locked off, what if that exotic was Gjallerhorn or Thorn, weapons that had a time of complete dominance in a certain field, now imagine if you could only get that weapon through a pre-order, imagine a meta based around a weapon you cannot possibly attain because you chose not to pre order because you wanted to read a review before you bought the game or see how good the launch was. It's entirely reasonable to criticise that. It's a possibility that this weapon will dominate PvP or PvE and there will no way for hesitant players to obtain it at all, and responding that it will be available later is a nonfactor because if it's too good it's gonna be nerfed down before then but not before it's had at least a month or so at the top spot (once again assuming the weapon will be good, which to be fair we have no way of knowing but still, it's a possibility), people are assuming this will be like not being able to obtain PlayStation exclusives on Xbox, but that (whilst still a stupid corporate cash grab for more sales on one console by sony) is completely different as Xbox players didn't have to deal with these weapons whilst being unable to obtain them. All in all if you still think this a good idea or not a terrible idea or whatever, you're too accepting of triple a developers and publishers trying to secure sales by getting people to pre order before reviews are out (And no, early reviews like ign etc. don't count because they're paid off or are just happy to have exclusive early reviews to get more people on their site, viewing the ads on there and getting them money.) Also I will not reply to anything on this, it's not because your right and I can't argue back or you've convinced me, it's because whilst I care enough to type way too -blam!-ing much about this triple a bullshit, I don't care enough to argue with some fanboy over my opinion, nothing short of cancelling this bonus will make me happy with this ALMOST pay to win situation.

The idea of a preorder exclusive exotic weapon is just a bad idea in the first place.

Bungie: you will get the extra exotic and multiplayer map from D1 later on Xbox(no mention of extra dead ghost etc.) Well, D1 is (almost) over now and I still haven't seen them. I'm not amused about this. Hopefully the Xbox players can just earn it with a mission of something, then i don't really care because i don't need freebies.
