4 RisposteBungie pitched micro transactions as a way to give us free content, but what we got was watered down content. We gave them more money, and they had no incentive to develop any new DLC's, although this is what we were supposed to get. By continuing Eververse in Destiny two, we are assured to see longer times between real DLC's, with more mini events in-between. If this is what you want, go ahead and buy that silver.

8 RisposteMicrotransactions are pretty obnoxious in most cases but definitely the worst is ones that involve RNG like the treasure boxes in destiny. It's some of the worst RNG I've seen. Right now in my opinion titanfall 2's is probably the best microtransactions out there. All they are are packs of emblems and banners, gun and pilot camos in another then titan camo packs and then last the prime titan packs. They're all pretty cheap too.

While I'll agree it being just about dead centre is a little off putting especially if you consider it from a channeling point of view being right next to our favourite turd burger the cryptarch, blues for purples go on do it again I dares ya, but realistically no one is holding gun to my head making me jump on board and buy silver by the bucket load. I don't pay a monthly subscription fee to be able to play using bungies server, plus or live aside, so where does the magic money come from to up keep, improve and give us the free interim content? It certainly ain't fairies, maybe it would be considered preferable to pay a monthly subscription fee and ditch micro transactions? Personally I'll take micro transactions as it gives me an option rather than an enforced course of action and should I feel so inclined I'll partake in silver otherwise I'll just enjoy the game and accept, rightly or wrongly, that this is the current state of gaming and it's not going anywhere but it's still a choice not an enforcement.

I think Titanfall 2 is a great example for micro transactions - something you can do to support the developers and get something that you can show off/that looks cool out of it.

I have a thing or two to say about the eververse tent. I have thought a lot about that tent, what it means for the game and for us as players. There are a few truths we can extract from the eververse trading co in Destiny 2, and using these truths we can approximate what it's role will be going forward. But first, we must turn out attention back to the tent. I truly believe that Bungie carefully considers each design decision, and, with that in mind, one must ask, "why a tent? Why not a shack, shed, or shanty?" The answer lies in the eververse booth from Destiny 1, which is markedly not a tent. It is more of weird little building thing. In conclusion, I hope Bungie will make good micro transaction choices that don't negatively affect players who don't shell out the cash. I'm glad we had this little talk.
