Lmao.
This is what happens when you make a team shot oriented game with a slow TTK, slow supers, and a very boring game.
Bungie please wake up, this beta should show you that your community doesn't want to play a game with a slower TTK than Halo.
They don't want to play a game where you have to team shot every single person you see.
They want to have FUN. Stop taking the fun away.
Edit- We are apparently trending, so maybe someone over at bungie will actually look into this.

29 RisposteJust reading the complaints make me think the following about some of you. You want cheap easy kills that you don't have to work for. You want pve to be no challenge what so ever. You expect every weapon you get to be a god roll. You want your super to charge faster cause you can't get kills without it. You don't want 2 primary slots cause you're afraid to do anything but camp with your power weapon. You also don't like two primaries cause you want to down the bosses in strikes as quickly as possible because you can't handle the mechanics and die without your crutch You don't like team shots because you lack the skill to put gun 2 opposing players (it's not that hard hit your head shots) You miss your op D1 abilities cause you lack any gun skill You claim the new pvp sucks because you're getting outplayed You are the vocal minority and your complaints are not the least bit valid, next you'll complain your opponent won't stand still so you can kill them.

17 RisposteJust get headshots. I had no problems in crucible. I love that its not ability based. Absolutely love it. More gun skill. Which a lot of people lack. My favorite moment: As a Hunter, shooting down one guardian, dodge reload to get that double kill. The flow was just so beautiful. Supers have become special, hopefully removing the "panic" super. Overall, I think Destiny is headed in the right direction.

30 RisposteModificato da Akron: 7/26/2017 6:28:11 AMAround this point in time, Destiny 1 had about 1.7 million preorders across all platforms. Destiny 2 has about 250k as of June 17. These numbers speak volumes.
Bungie lost a lot of players trust with their release of Destiny 1 and their handling of things. Non existent story, lazy mission design, grinding that wasn't fun. Raids saved the game.
They have a lot of work to do to earn players trust back. After playing the beta, I am very concerned. Mobility is nerfed, guns with static rolls (unless they implement something in full release) and taking away player choice of class perks are all changes clearly made for PvP balance at the detriment to PvE. I will not be continuing with the franchise if the game is so stripped down for PvP that PvE is boring. Beta felt like Halo. EDIT: Links for those who don't believe me. D1 preorders at end of July 2014: http://www.vgchartz.com/preorders/41847/USA/ D2 preorders as of June 17: http://www.vgchartz.com/preorders/ Its in June, and double checking what D1 numbers were in June are around 1.2 million. So still a million short (minus pc numbers). Still way below D1 numbers. Fanboys can't argue that.

18 RisposteThank God nobody takes that platform or anyone on it seriously. It's called the TweenBox for a reason.
-
4 RisposteAre you not contradicting yourself? How can one complain about slow TTK and complain about team shot. To begin with, on average, the TTK with weapons like pulse and scouts autos are only .2-.4 seconds longer. I can see how you might say that's a lot, but if it's team shot orientated doesn't that cancel out the slow TTK?
-
Lol @ your edit. You still think Bungie cares what their community thinks
-
13 RisposteThe 2.5 rating doesn't surprise. The D2 beta plays out as a weaker dumbed down version of D1. Less fun to play. If this style of gameplay, weaker weapons, abilities and slower character movement is the direction that D2 is headed? I'm out!
-
3 RisposteMakes me laugh. I already preordered it so they have me hook, line and sinker. But I honestly hope its as bad as this come Sept, and only us hardcore Bungie fans (I love you Deej, Cozmo, and even Smith but like a bad dog who peed on the carpet, I am very disappointed right now) and they HAVE to buff everything to make it fun again. Not only was the beta infinitely tiny, I struggled through all the PVE content, and I'm a guy who mastered every class and every raid in Destiny. Why are we so weak in the beta? We should have felt powerful and we better come Sept or everyone (but me) is going to stop playing. I CAN'T QUIT YOU BUNGIE!

50% is failing. I would ground my kids for getting an F and make them redo all of their work.
-
Great. Cool. Ratings. Reviews. Until I play the game at launch I am not dependant on such things. I've played games that were hated but loved by me, and vice versa. It's all about taste.
-
3 RisposteWhat's funny is that's the rating for a beta. Rate the actual game when it launches.
-
No, it's what happens when you make a game hard for year 3 kids

1 RispondiModificato da Matu Flp Krawfe: 7/24/2017 11:48:22 AMTo me Destinty 2 felt like a rudimentary shooter of the Timeshift/Singularity/Blacksite Area 51 era of console gaming. As in, it fell into the exact same pitfalls as other developers who were trying to advance from Halo's template. Except, those games also had some awareness of their place in the industry. Bungie's developing Destiny without that. So, we have something that really doesn't understand what it is or what it's trying to be. That manifests itself in all areas (including kill times). Major points for me: -PVE gameplay is a mess. It's rudimentary up until the point where combat difficulty spikes. Then, it's dysfunctional. The way through the most difficult encounters (as with later content in Destiny 1) is to try breaking the AI with a convenient piece of geometry. Then, the battle is mainly with ammo conservation. The basic formula is "how much damage can I put out before damage coming in forces me back into my safety spot" and it's a very easy one to run through. So, challenge (even when presented) boils out through lack of integration and we're just left with the basic mechanics. For as much as Destiny 2 adds onto classic Halo, it feels less complex. -Characters dialog is amusing but flat, there's little sense of history, genuine emotion, or human depth. There's just personality. The tone of that might separate Destiny 2 from a typical modern shooter but it has the basic premise and setting to do a lot more. The plot still leans on these characters to sell the significance of what's happening, but they can't support that approach through their moment-to-moment writing. -The core story, while solidly functional, does seem at odds with the premise. Here we have the last bastion of humanity getting invaded and the focus is on the traveler and personal humiliation of the player, not THE LAST HOME OF OUR SPECIES BEING TAKEN (more than ever, humanity feels like a disposable pawn in the Destiny universe even from our own perspective in-game). So while Destiny 2 plugs along with something that technically works, it's missing opportunities to compound the basics together so they start creating a richer, deeper, or more remarkable experience. (on all fronts). Ultimately, it feels mediocre. It's not worth the hate some are leveling at it but Destiny 2 isn't living up to what it's expected to be.

Right! This beta is just a huge blanket NERF!
-
1 Rispondi4vs4 control is sad, 6vs6 was fine having suppers after 7 rounds is boring nerfing grenades dmg and CD didnt work, the problem was on specific grenades in D1 nerfing melee damage didnt work, the main issue was the range on a specific class supressing random perks is a huge mystake and the list goes on
-
dam that is such cool info. can you also tell me how many stars other AAA titles got so destiny will improve
-
Id say its more from those expecting D2 to be a fully brand new innovation, its merely a continuation with some new elements, they were not going to reinvent the wheel.......what did people expect?
-
3 RisposteScrew Xbox
-
Skill <> boring. The 2.5 is likely the result from low skill players who have found themselves unable to compete without 1hk noskill spam.
-
3 RisposteNo, this is what happens when you ignore the majority of your playerbase (the PvE players).
-
3 RisposteI just think it's funny that the hate mongers that frequent this forum always seem to think that they "are the community". The only place that I see ppl talking about how much they hate the new changes is on this forum. I hate to break it to you but less than 5% of the Destiny community actually use this cesspool that is the forum. So go on and continue diluting yourself into thinking that you are in the majority.
-
That's generous, I would give D2 1/2 star out of 5.
-
I went to see what it was rated on psn but I couldn't find it as i was curious to see what the rating for it was.
-
Time to kill is just fine for me. Halo to kill honestly is slower, and I do t want so fast ttk like cod. But I agree that abilities should be used more often.
-
Modificato da Dooodley: 7/25/2017 12:10:16 AMAs bored as I am of Destiny in general there's no way of telling what those people actually rated. It could be anything from legitimate things to size of the beta. I mean, the size of the beta is not really something I would lower the rating because of - I feel like a lot of people do though, as if they expected it to have enough new content to fill a weekend.
