My grandpa used to play halo with me when he whas 70. So I don't think that you're lying. It's possible that a person who loves games keeps playing games, even if he/she is 70 years old. People should know that.

That players don't have to think of quitting when they reach at certain age, it's o.k. to keep on gaming whatever you age may be. That even as time takes it's toll on your body and reflexes video games can be fun and achievements are not out of reach. I was fortunate enough to be chosen as the Community Focus for July 20, 2015 and through that experience I learned that there are many older and middle aged gamers playing who contemplate quitting because they think there is some kind of stigma associated with being an older gamer or they feel they are being a drag on their fireteam because their KTD is too low. They don't want to be "that guy" who no one wants on their team. I want to encourage them to keep playing. That there are gamers who are older than they are who aren't giving up and that gaming can be enjoyable even when their minds and bodies are slowing down. Aren't these forums supposed to be a place the Community can share achievements and not just rip each other apart?[/quote] You're welcome in my fire team any day. Your game philosophy is like mine and the play style sounds like mine. I like Archon's Forge and Oryx's Court. It's a little un-nerving but Challenge of Elders is good too. And I too have suffered the same attitude as you have from younger players. I do team up with a few really great players to get through a few bad strikes.

Good to hear! I am 38 and my father is mid-60s; we both play. He doesn't play Destiny (yet), he plays World of Tanks and Fallout mostly. He's still kicking around on an Xbox 360.

Well done to you 3 Im also in a 3 man team combined age around 160. (45 50+ 60+) It don't matter how old you are as long as your enjoying yourself

I'm 35 and im the old guy in my group lol, my how different a few years makes lol Don't mind the kids in this forum they're just doing what the kids do now a days - try to make themselves feel like theyre important on an Internet forum because other parts of their lives are so empty. Regardless thank you for posting I often wonder if there are other guardians out there my age or older.
