Is 4,4,4 the most powerful tier 12 build?

I have 3 or 4 builds for my hunter that I'm playing with. Artifact is holding my lock back. My striker has a 3/5/4 build... seems to be fine. As a solo player, T12 doesn't really matter. When you have a full fire team with T12 builds, it can make all the difference. Most subclasses(maybe all) have a melee perk that reduces cool down... even so... if strength is max and you use increased cool down, you'll get the charge faster.

Depends on subclass and style of play. My Bladedancer will try and be 5.5.1 while my nightstalker is 1.5.5 and Gunsingler is 4.4.4

3 RisposteI'm 5/5/0 and i do fine. I've never been like, omfg, i wish my melee that I almost never use recharged in 28sec instead of 34seconds..... the build is silly and hardly worth striving for max int/dis 0 str fits my playstyle perfectly

Well i rarely use my melee even in trials so 5/5/0 works for me

Not for most classes, I'd say 5-5-2 it's best

I'd prefer 2,5,5 on pretty much everything if I could. Grenades and melee's can contribute to getting your super up.

Dependant on the subclass. Titans always want a grenade and super, so 5/5/2 is preferred. Tlaloc users may enjoy a 5/4/3 build until max super before swapping to a 2/5/5 build. Warlocks and hunters tend to enjoy all their abilities, this a 4/4/4 build would be desirable. Comes down to preference, but subclasses tend to play to specific strengths.
