I absolutely support this and I won't be buying the DLC until after release day when review scores have come in. People being disparaging, what you're doing by pre-ordering is fronting Bungie an interest free loan on faith that the product will be good enough to be worth it. Have they consistently produced quality products? I would say Destiny is very high quality, but inconsistent: Destiny played well but had poor story and endgame mechanics Crotas end improved the story a little, with an arguably weaker endgame and raid. HoW improved the endgame mechanics but had issues with the prison of elders activity. The story in TTK was an improvement, but the double RNG arguably spoilt the endgame. Baffling decisions like adding light level to class items and abandoning content abounded. Spring update was a single rehashed area and a slight grind reduction (Albeit a free one) Based on the above I'm not convinced enough they won't make another mistake. Meanwhile Firewatch, Dark Souls, Fallout, Starbound, No Man's Sky and more all beckon. I hope to be proven wrong. But Bungie isn't the safe bet it used to be.

I think if you're going to argue or be against pre-ordering you should be going on more than just: Elemental Primaries & Bring back old gear. I'm a year 1 player and I'm going to argue this. Not for the sake of pre ordering but for the sake of your poor and lack of points. Elemental Primaries: Bungle already made previous/past inquires about elemental primaries. That they were indeed a mistake to the game and that it will never happen again. Zhalo Supercell is most likely the last elemental primary we will receive and this also means that Necrocasm and Vex Mythoclast probably won't be brought forward because of this. Year 1 & Year 2 Being "Brought Forward": This topic bugs me the most and this is why I can't understand what the community truly wants when it comes to this topic. You guys always ask for more and new content, yet you want the old and original content brought back forward. That doesn't make sense. And in all honesty, I don't want stuff from Y1 brought back. It was okay to do it in the April Update and it's okay to do it until September but this game needs to drop all of that stuff. Hold onto it for memory is fine, be special and save your stuff (that's what I started doing with TTK's weapons and armor pieces, although everything from TTK will be able to get infused and brought through Rise of Iron... Anyway, I'm against bringing back Y1 weapons with the exception of EXOTICS. Vault of Glass and Crota's End are irrelevant. If Bungle decides to bring it back, that's on them but if they don't. I won't be upset. I used to be the one supporting bringing back Year 1 stuff but through the many droughts Destiny has had on lack of new content and new exploration space there is absolutely no reason for Bungie to bring back old content. Majority of the stuff they have made has been revamped for newer DLC anyway. But that doesn't mean it needs to fully comeback and brought up with the light level. YES, we would have more of a variety to do, but it will die off and everyone will just still be playing the NEW content. That's the way the world functions. Out with the old, in with the new.
