Seriously, I run a 8 sense normally, but yesterday I tried a 3 for a few games and it was horrible. It was like waiting a whole year for my primary to finally get to my targets head. I don't know how the -blam!- you guys do it (especially the people who use 1, like how the -blam!- is that possible), but hats off to you. The amount of patience you guys must have is unreal.
Edit: Lol, this post got a bit more popular than I expected. Working on responding. If any of you guys are like me and like to just listen to music and read comments, I added something for you....
Edit 2: Trending bois. Keep it up people, some very interesting explanations you guys have. Reading through them all.
Edit 3: So I'm seeing a trend here. Almost all of the people who run low sensitivity do so because they need it to maintain accuracy (or they've seen good players that run low sense for sniping/shotgunning), and most of the people who run high sense do so because of their experience in other games, or their reaction time if better catered to moving swiftly. Also noticed that it sounded like a lot of people respond as though they think I main my shotgun....so their response was something along the lines of "lower sense helps with target acquisition for my primary and/or sniper." TBH, that is debatable, a lot of these high sense users are seemingly very good with snipers, and I myself do pretty well with a sniper (proof: http://destinytracker.com/destiny/medals/xbox/Ahryi).
Thanks for all the input guys, very interesting reading through your replies and seeing some people actually act pretty pissed over a simple, innocent question (and a compliment.) In conclusion, just run whatever sensitivity you want, no matter what weapons you use, you'll get used to it eventually, and no one can tell you otherwise.
Another edit: Tried out 7 for a couple of sweat series. I'm pretty sure I found my new sensitivity. Thanks to all who've responded, definitely turned into a interesting thread to read.

I play on 3 lol

Modificato da CheckOutThesePythonsDoc: 8/2/2016 3:44:34 AMLow sensitivity shouldn't even be a thing on consoles.
-
1 RispondiModificato da Ken Rocker: 8/2/2016 12:22:20 AMI play on 10 and inverted. I'm average though for kd.
-
1 RispondiCrucible:3 PvE:5
-
2 RisposteI used to play on 10 because I was used to cod, but the more I played crucible I lowered it to a 4.
-
I play on 9 most of the time, tried to do 10 but 9 feels so right
-
I play on 4-6 sensitivity, although mainly on 4 and 5. I prefer the slower movement as sometimes I freak out and will move around everywhere ;_; Only time I'll go higher is after playing CoD and even then, max I'll play on is 9~
-
I play on 3
-
2 RisposteMaybe because you aren't used to it?
-
I play 5. 10 is too high and 3 is too low. 5 is juuuust right.
-
For me it depends on the controller. I have found on a new controller it is more sensitive and I have to turn it down to 2-3. Most the time once I get use to the controller and it gets broken in I get it set to 4-6.
-
I used to rock a 7 sens and I got bored lmao so I thought let me try changing up my gameplay a little, turned it down slowly and now I'm on a solid 3 and I've never played better!
-
3 or 4, old school inverted. I'm too twitchy, even now I over correct a bit!
-
I use on 1 and I can still dominate players
-
Idk. I run on 2 and can't figure out how you little -blam!-s snipe with sensitivity at 10. I guess it's personal preference.
-
3 RisposteThe lower your sensitivity the more you take advantage of aim assist, which seems a bit broken but it's how it seems to work
-
I play on 6 atm. 3-4 is good for sniping, 9-10 is good for shotgunning. Since I use my primary the most, 5-6 is best for me. Fast enough to spin around corners and to track enemies that jump or strafe out of sight and slow enough to not eff up the aiming when ads.
-
I have to run with the Max Sensitivity in any game, even then it isn't fast ENOUGH. Destiny's look sensitivity should go up to 15 at least.
-
lol, my thought exactly when I see people running max sensitivity. I can hardly get headshots while on 4, let alone 10. I usually use 3. I wonder if it has something to do with how you naturally move the thumbsticks?
-
I run 2 sensitivity. It works out for me. I feel really accurate with all my shots.
-
I play on 2 because im too jumpy. Always have since even halo days. Also inverted haha =)
-
I think they must be running with a sniper. Any other type of gun play needs better reaction time than that imo.
-
In PvE I play on max, in PvP I use 3, mainly because AA always screws me and aims behind the enemy. With sensitivity on 3, it's low enough that I can override the AA.
-
I play on standard, 3.
-
Play on 10. With a hand cannon and everytime the recoil kicks in, strafe back at the target and shoot. It's super fast.
-
I play on 10 and it still feels slow. And before you look at my pvp stats, I predominantly play pve. I only play pvp when iron banner is around or for weekly treasure or marks.
