I shouldn't have to go through so many steps just to thank a person for helping me.
Please incorporate a thank you emote.
Bump if you agree

The applaud gesture suffices.

Cmon peeps don't waste Bungie's time on stuff like this, there are already bows, waves and applauds as it is. I am pretty sure there is even a thumbs up that can all be used for Thank You.
-
I use the wave for this.
-
You could just use the bow emote.
-
sure you can have a thank you emote, 200 silver please-bungie
-
The wave or bow is good.

I find that dancing can be a good thank you emote sometimes, although, not ideal. Traditionally waving has been the conventional 'Thank you' and 'Hi/Bye'. I miss when everyone used 'point'... it was so helpful. I still use it from time to time because it's fun to relive that era.

1 RispondiWaving has worked perfectly fine since day one.
-
1 RispondiFormal bow is pretty close.
-
How about a /spit emote

1 RispondiYo Ive been saying this forever! But not just an emote, PSN or Destiny should add a way to upvote players for being awesome. So many times I've wanted to give somebody a gold star for being helpful or patient as all hell with me while learning a raid, or carrying a crucible team. It doesn't even need to be something useful or meaningful, or even tracked, just a little blip on the side of the screen saying "mattalina22 upvotes publicdomainMPC." My friend list would probably double if there were something like that in this game. Plus I don't like only being able to report people for being shitty. Good deeds go unrewarded man. And only the good die young.

1 RispondiWe need a way to map them first before we get any more.
-
2 RisposteIsn't that what the wave emote is. As far as I know, that's what A LOT of people use it for in game... Since the beginning

Bump. I usually wave as a thank you
-
I usually just wave after being revived to say thanks, but I would prefer to use a thank you emote
-
perfect for when someone re peaks the same angle that I'm holding without letting their health recover
-
1 RispondiThink we need a system like Overwatch. Like Attack A,B, and C or defend based on who has it captured. Also, a group up or stay together.

3 RisposteFigured the generic wave covered this already
-
2 RisposteHow about a middle finger emote, like how Chris Pratt does it in Guardians of the Galaxy.
