I don't have the best internet, but this recent update fixed matchmaking for me. I don't know what wrong with other people, but I've had full matches of greenbars consistently and my internet isn't great. Before the update, however, I had awful lag, so definitely a step in the right direction. Thanks Bungie, always nice when you help fix problems :)
