Helping a friend on King's Fall Hard raid the other day. He was 319. Everyone else was 335. We're at totems. I'm in the middle and hear guardian down. One of the 335s on the same side as my 319 friend died. This happened several more times because apparently despite the fact he had a 20+ light level advantage, he couldn't handle the pressure. This is worse than HOW and the etheric light Era. There is no way to identify bums without wasting your time playing, unless you're the type to look up stats. He ended up leaving because he couldn't take the heat. It was obvious he'd never done the raid, but there he was, wasting our time. And for those who might say why didn't you help him, I say some people can't be helped. Real Talk...
If you say you're 335 and raid experienced and you're not, you're a liar. In life Liars are referred to as fakes and phony. Any intelligent person should understand this...

I've only completed the hard raid like, maybe, 8 times?.. I just don't see any point to it anymore. I don't like any of the weapons, I already have both raid shaders, and beat it all that raid is the most boring thing in destiny.. At least VoG, and Crota was actually fun playing. I don't do raids anymore, I moved onto carrying people in trials, and just helping random teams on the forum. And really just because you know how to do a raid doesn't make you anything special.. There's plenty of ways to reach 335 now, not just that same ole boring raid 24/7
-
10 RisposteStill don't get how players feel elite if they complete the same raid over and over. Do you not see the irony there? There is no randomness. It's the same thing. Again and again. You've got 100 oryx kills . Whoa. Doesn't make anybody elite. There are various ways to get to 335 . It's stupid not to take advantage of that.

Please add the hashtag #bitchpost to your post so that people can see that you're just bitter about your recent experiences.

1 RispondiA lot of people don't have a problem taking a rookie or 2 into the raid, but you gotta tell us that you don't know what your doing. Be honest or get the boot.
-
If the weapons and gear make them 335 then it's not fake. You should learn what terms mean before u post.....
-
I mean, you talk like he really wasted your time but you could've taken 30 seconds to check his stats.
-
I agree with this, they should just admit they've not done it. Some ppl can't be taught not to die, no matter how much you explain or help them. LFG pool is getting small again too.
-
I feel you. I just want someone to be honest so I know what to expect. Need help with your first run, and want it to be hm? Cool. Want to learn the mechanics on hard, but have done normal? Cool. Never done the raid, at 335 light, and don't know what is going on? Cool. But to tell someone you've been it and been through countless times, regardless of light level, you shouldn't be dying in the raid at all. Sometimes shit happens, I get that. But if you know the raid, you shouldn't have deaths on each part of the raid. Be honest with people and people will be willing to work with you. Plain and simple.

No one is mad that people can get to 335 via other means. In fact, it is great that they can and aren't left out because they don't raid. The problem here is that when I make a LFG post asking for a team with experience and some dude joins thinking that his 335 is going to carry him through it is a problem. People need to be honest if they do not know the raid and let someone know before they join. Just last week I was doing oryx, I asked the team if everyone knew what they were doing. Everyone said yes. I was running, we start and get through the first phase and shade, I jump on the plate and start making my way and boom! there is no plate to jump on. It's a wipe, and everyone says they were on their plate. I ask if everyone knows how to do 123. None of them knew. I spent 3 hours and 38 tries trying to teach them and they still couldn't get the bomb phase right. This is what we experienced people and facing more and more of. Now as a caveat is was a guys group that I had played trials with, so I stayed to help, but I have seen this repeatedly since the last update.

Why do people kick me from crota? Like Im just trying to help people kill crota sorry I don't use my mic to help you with CROTA.

I used to waste my time topping out my light level, then these fake max light boys appeared more and more. It doesn't have the same rep it used to. I run with 330s and lower that do just fine. Plenty of carried ones don't even know how to run the raids sharp
-
3 RisposteI'm almost 335 on all 3 of my characters and have never done KF. You mad? Good.
-
2 Risposte335-319 is definitely not 20+. I'm confused.
-
4 RisposteYou have almost 4K deaths in the raid..relax guy
-
Modificato da Pat: 5/27/2016 3:16:27 AMI can do any position in the raid. Often I ask people what they're more comfortable doing so it's easier on everybody, but yes I agree. I can teach someone with no raid experience, I did it for my brother, step by step. As long as you're honest. It's frustrating when people die over and over when they don't know what they're doing, when they claim to be very experienced when they obviously don't know what the hell is going on
-
4 RisposteNot all players catch onto game mechanics as well as others. Any intelligent person should know this.

HE'S A PHONY

13 RisposteOP, do you realize how pathetic this thread you made is? Go outside, it's a game. It's summer now, get some fresh air instead of inhaling and exhaling the same stench from your bed sheets.

4 RisposteKf is a garbage raid anyways. Vog for life.
-
I stopped doing the raid right around the update due to this. I have a few people on my friends list who ask me to play and I know they have a solid crew. No more LFGing groups for me.
-
36 RisposteHate to break it to you and all....But kingsfall doesnt drop 335. Soooooo since POE does....Yeah. I dont think I really need to go on.
-
8 RisposteIf you dont have 50 + Kings Fall completions your basically a fake 335.
-
8 Risposte335 and 319 is 20 points difference. Okay i thought it was 16 haha. Anyway jokes aside I get your point entirely, people should not lie about their raid experience, it messes with team flow, frustrates people when the team fails and worst of all gives more wipes than the team need making the run longer than it needs to be. I honestly can tell you I haven't completed kingfall but if I am told what to do I will follow it. I have done warpriest and got to golgoroth once but not any further as a family matter needed my attention. I have attempted vog afew times but no completions due to various reasons and jumping in at different stages be it templar or atheon (one time on atheon cp we tried over an hour because the fireteam leader was Australian and had a rubbish connection, this attempt ultimately failed but I knew what to do) . Done gorgon once but that's it, so a little rusty on patterns. The only raid I am fairly confident with is crota as its shorter and the encounters are quicker. soloed the abyss section several times but prone to silly mistakes sometimes but hey only human. The above is my experience and people should be honest about it. I still don't get why people lie it just frustrates everyone else.

It's just like throwing a DUI driver inside of a V12 Nascar and expexting his a.. to come in first place...haha.

I feel your pain! My thing is, all that grinding just to have an update that puts people who have never even touched a raid in the same tier as you! Its b.s!!! Just because you have a high light level now days doesnt mean anything at all
