Interestingly, the Traveler appears to mostly be damaged on the bottom. Wouldn't an incoming attack from space damage it from the top, while getting shot by the City would damage the bottom? Maybe it was killed by enemy ground fire, but considering every boss in the game has a stomp attack, you'd think the Traveler would too. Who knows, maybe the damage came from the Traveler body slamming the Darkness lol ;)
