I've seen people rush thalnok this week in CoO (leaving the sword on the floor, shooting him non-stop wondering why they aren't doing damage), if they can't get past a simple patrol mini-boss (who's mechanics are a complete repeat of crotas end) there's no way you'd finish crota, and certainly not vog or kings fall. Picture wiping over and over again because someone didn't know how to swap by totems in kings fall, or doesn't even know how too...or you being the only one killing oracles in vog... How about the Warpriest mechanics? Who's grabbing golgoroths gaze (And if you are who's dropping the bubble and shooting)? How long would you sit at the jumping puzzle before you left? By deathsisters pray the random runner knows how, pray 3 others know which plate to step on first...or to stand inside the aura... Don't get me started on oryx. Even the first encounter with the relics, how much anxiety would you handle after being the only one to grab a relic and be set back again (assuming the team even makes it past 1...) How about vog? Templar, (imagine how many people would run right out of the containment)? How many kills the gorgons would have. Think gatekeepers are easy? Wait till the portal closes behind you because no one is on it! Or no one's watching the middle spire. Or they drop/die with relic since they don't know how to use it. Atheon who knows how to clense? You do? Assume you don't get teleported...can they kill oracles in time? Do they know how to clense? Even crota, you think you can solo but they all seem to enjoy seeing the oversoul spawn. Again and again. How come your the only one shooting at it? Wipe... Also 3 people die, you figure it's a wipe right? Off the map you go. Wrong the last two players are either afk or don't know why everyone died and are trying to revive teammates on hard mode...or insist on hiding thinking your coming back in 30 seconds on your own....15 mins later they send you a message calling you a scrub because you haven't pushed X to revive yourself yet... Then there's the problem with afk's, trolls, quitters, two players being in a party who seem to insist on staring at each other teabagging the ground the entire raid... Challenge of elders, poe and nightfall a single player can carry. But for raids and arguably trials one cannot. (Unless your running crota or your name is ramblinn)
