OK... rant time.. I hate to be the "git gud scrub" type of guy but for God's sake the amount of incompetent people in Kingsfall is astonishing.
LFG is full of light level snobs (both characters I play are 332 when I'm raiding)
But the funny thing is I've dragged sub 300 light first timers through hard raid that performed better than half the 330+ light snobs I find on LFG.
KINGSFALL IS MECHANIC BASED, LIGHT LEVEL MEANS NOTHING IF YOU CAN'T COUNT YOUR DAMMED PLATES OR WATCH A STUPID ASS TIMER
anyways... end rant.

2 RisposteModificato da JHarv: 5/14/2016 9:10:59 PMLight does not equal skill But You can't objectify measure skill of a person you just randomly met. So you do the next best thing, which is assume that light level at least represents experience. It would be fair to bet that someone who is 330+ has some experience with end game content, no?

Hella bump

10 RisposteI've done 3 raid missions. Never finished one, and have zero interest in it now BECAUSE of people who only want experienced raiders. I'm pretty decent at pve, and can solo most things without much if an issue. But the couple of times I did a raid, it was mostly standing around listening to people argue about what is going on. I got so bored, not only did I quit, but I decided to never again go into a raid. With the new updates, I've gotten from 300 to 325 without doing much other than crucible and a few strikes. I think raids are pretty much a waste of time at this point. Because 335 gear drops from multiple sources now. Even PoE is more productive than waiting for an hour to HOPEFULLY get something usefully from a boring ass raid. Maybe with real life friends it could be fun, but I don't have 5 people I know who play this game.
-
Agreed to that.
-
2 RisposteNo, it doesn't equal skill level. But it does equal how effective you are against higher light level (darkness level?) enemies.
-
9 RisposteYou've done 12 kings fall completions, please shut up about anything raid related. If I want to ask for a 335 to do a raid, I'll do it even though I know a 310 can do their part just fine.

38 RisposteModificato da REVIVE PHARMER: 5/11/2016 3:57:50 PMGod's honest truth. I got baited into a party by some random the other day looking for people to do Oryx HM checkpoint. This is the exact conversation: Me: What character do I need to bring? Rando: It doesn't matter. Me: What is everyone running? Rando: I'm not sure. Me: What do you mean you're not sure? Rando's mouthy friend: We are just looking for some people that will stick around so we can get this done. I'm really good at PvP and I don't understand why it's so hard to get this done!!!! Me: You need at least 2 nightstalker hunters and 2 defender Titans. 2 self rez Warlocks would be nice to put on plates 1 and 2. Rando: What are you talking about? IH PHARMER has left the party. It's baffling how bad it has gotten. All of the good players have left and now we are left with PvP trash that either can't figure out the mechanics, can't play as a team, or flat out won't listen to instructions and noobs that struggle to stay alive. It awful.

New raid rule should be put into effect every time you die in raid you breakdown an exotic or you get booted lol
-
I'm lost at this point. I think it's all about luck finding the right team.
-
I totally agree! I have two 334 sunsinger warlock and a 331 Titan and I am solidly average.... And I'm ok with that..... Git gud my ass! What do you think I'm doing.... Lol!
-
HAHAHAHAHAHA YOU'RE 334 YOU SUCK! IM SO MUCH BETTER THAN YOU GIT GUD SCRUB!
Did I win?
1 RispondiGoing forward this will be my lfg posting: "Lf #_ for _ HM CP. I give two shits about your light level. I will check your grimoire, exp, ship, emblem and # of completions. You don't pass muster, don't bother going in because you'll be kicked...otherwise, send invite!! :D"
-
1 RispondiI'm 317 and I think you're an idiot.
-
Here is my honesty, STFU
-
Stop raiding. Problem solved. I got 320 light on all of my characters before the update and discovered it was totally not necessary to do the raid again after....
-
1 RispondiI only Raid with 340 light Guardians.
-
Don't be surprised when you don't meet the requirement for a job you applied for and get fired immediately.
-
the light level snobs really mever listened to me when i told them they weren't doing it right.
-
11 RisposteYeah, I know how you feel, I stopped playing this game for like 6 months and I decided to play it again, but I can't get any group to do anything with because of my light level. Smh
-
That's why I always base it on grimoire, when I care who is with us
-
It's kind of annoying when you join up with people that are too stoned to play competently. This one guy said something so stupid, I forgot it because it killed most of the brain cells linked to that memory.
-
In week 1 april update if you were 333-335 are were probably better than average. And i usally asume someones skill by his grimoire.
-
2 RisposteDid KF oryx for the challenge mode yesterday. Hunter in the group, who shall remain unnamed to protect the ignorant... This fashionable young man is 335 in full trials gear, he was on a plate, and was struggling to kill his knight, it became clear after the 2nd wipe due to his death that this was new to him. After the 3rd wipe he bailed... and was posting on lfg that he had the cp and was looking for a good group. LOL ... Kids these days
-
I just love how I LFG'd a group to do a CoE sigil today and ended with like 22,000 points and the other two combined had like 9,000. I ended up kicking them before they got their rewards. They deserved it and damn it felt good. Of course karma hit me when I picked up my weapon, but god damn it was worth it!!! They literally melee'd nothing. The whole entire game all I heard was a fcking Hung Jury go dink dink dink dink. I was literally the only one meleeing shit.
-
Umm yes it does scrub obvi omg lolz git rekt 420.
-
Got that right Today at 41 poe a 331 died 12 times then a 314 died only 2 lol when i saw that i was like wow wow wow
