MIDA just getting ridiculous
This IB has flagged up for me just how [u]ridiculously[/u] OP the MIDA is. In comparison to any other Exotic primary, it is just hilariously impossible to fight against. The only Exotic that hasn't been nerfed - and it could [b][u][i]seriously[/i][/u][/b] do with one. From a wonderfully fun weapon to use (when it was actually on par with other Exotics), it's became a crutch for those in PvP who need a weapon as OP as it to actually keep up.
I play with a group of guys and none of us use MIDA, yet always finish in the top 2/3 of a PvP game. We find that the main weapon that kills us is the MIDA - along with Doctrine (but that's a whole other matter for another thread about people needing crutches).
All in, this is an entire topic for a good moan about the [b]God Weapon[/b] of Destiny (and I do have it, just don't use it), and I'd be interested to know if anyone else finds this?

Why not just buff everything back up from being nerfed into the ground? Make everything competitive. When will the nerfs stop? When were throwing marshmallows at each other?

Its a good weapon, but it doesnt turn a Noob in a pro. The advanced players will always use the best weapons with the fastest time to kill. Thats why Thorn is still a thing. You encounter MIDA pretty often. One reason imo is SBMM. I never have relaxed matches in Skirmish, only sweaty ones.

I bet I was smiled upon when I used this obviously overpowered crutch when Thorn reigned. I think MIDA should only be nerfed for those that used Thorn/TLW back in their stupidly overpowered days ;) You people don't deserve MIDA - where was your love for it back then?!

Cry a little harder. It's not OP. I use it and fight against it. I've outgunned a lot of MIDA users (when I'm not using it) with Convalances Duty and/or Red Death.

Four headshots for a kill is OP? Exactly how many bullets to the head from a freaking rifle should it take to kill you then?

I have outgunned the MIDA so many times its not even funny. Stop looking for an excuse for why you suck so much and admit it. I'm not the best player in destiny by any means but i can at least admit when I get out played. I don't need to come to the forums and cry about it. You're almost as bad as all those people crying for safe zones in school.

I just started using Mida, never had it before, so why not use it. I'm not the greatest player, but I'm not the worst either and there has been quite a few times I've been out gunned by others. I don't think it's a crutch because if it was my game should improve, lol. I think it really just boils down to who has better aim and is quicker on the trigger, just my opinion.

Mida has been nerfed. Its not op. If The Last Word cannon gets a nerf then in okay with MIDA getting a nerf.. until then shush!!!

1 RispondiIt's popular, so you're bound to get killed by it more often; I don't think it overpowered. People who run and gun, and think they're rambo, will die more often than most. People who adjust and use a little strategy will come out on top no matter what they use.

So... Skirmish... We were losing, them about 10000, us at 6000, so I switched to my MIDA. I fought like a goddamn war machine and we won, but only because I switched. I love it, but it feels like a crutch and I can't figure out how to fix it...

I dunno man... Sure it's a common gun to see nowadays, but I don't think it's OP. Its the best all around gun imo. Being a jack of all trades means you're a master of none though. In other words, it's not OP, at all.
