Ok, swords will be very useful. And yes during arc burn we didn't use Gally. But the great Ghorn will not be outmatched for everything else. Quodron, skolas, etc....
What's with you guys who are saying that 'PoE is soooo easy now?' Umm, yeah it's easy because we are 320 and it's like 170... Compute?
Based on the amount of people saying that they've beaten skolas with swords, trying to tell me it's easy, I'm concluding that there will be A LOT of crying when Bungie releases this new PoE. A lot.

It won't be any different than before. It's boring as -blam!-, and the laziest thing the developers can add. It literally takes zero work. I don't care though, won't be playing it.

I've beaten skolas couple of times before exotic swords and it was a pain because you had to get the right modifiers. I never did the ghorn assault from the doorway with a titan bubble.

It will be fine. Two of my fireteam including me didnt have the ghorn til right before it was sold. Used Truth, Icebreaker and Black Hammer. We managed. It was more about timing and communication than anything. Sure there were lots of teams that did the ghorn assault, but it wasnt necessary. Just quick.

1 RispondiSleeper Simulant's time as come. Also, none of the PoE bosses were DPS tests or on enrage timers. You could kill all the bosses with primaries, if you wanted to. In fact, that was the best way to do Skolas so you didn't accidentally trigger two add waves at once. There's always the slim chance they'll announce Year 2 Gally.

Im sure it will be super crazy. I kind of want to try and do the titan bubbles with the TOM and see what kind of damage you can do.

Sleeper is more precise than ghorn so you don't have to worry about weird wall hitboxes, if you know the map rotations, which most people do, it's pretty easy as long as you communicate

1 RispondiIf bungie was smart they would fix the sword cheese for the new version. And the sleeper stimulant is strong in its own way. It just requires a precision shot and it's a heavy hitter.

PoE was a good concept, but the execution was lacking. Aspects kept changing every week, yet it was always the same.

Sleeper simulant might be nice to try.
