Mida has 90 aim assist, that's balanced?
There are only a few guns that high in the game. This is in no way balanced. If you want to "nerf" I mean "balance" it. Lower that crap to 50. You can test the difference in AA by using Treads upon stars. It performs like the mida, even has same scope. But less AA. And no speed bonus but it's very close.
Edit: I love mida, but people need to stop saying it's balanced. That aim assist is really high.
Edit 2: it has a High Aim Assistance people,plus I would rather them nerf that over anything else. Because let's face it, they are going to nerf it.
Edit 3: I was just informed that it can go from 90 to 100 aim assist. 100! That's like aim bot level!

It is when you have the sniper meta that we have now. Also if 90 Aim Assistance on a Scout Rifle that is Exotic bothers you so much then you will never find the answers you seek here.

I see a lot of people talking about averages of A A and comparing Mida to other scouts. Mida is EXOTIC people... shouldn't that make it ABOVE average?

Aim assistance, the low zoom scope, fire rate and the stability make it easy to use no matter what range you are at, which is unbalanced, even against other exotics. Every weapon type should and for the most part does have its ideal range. Since its a scout rifle, it should become more difficult to use the closer your are to your target but be reliable at a distance. The best way to make MIDA fall into the scout category without breaking the gun would be to increase the zoom of the scope, making close range ads less reliable but still able to be done. While also reducing aim assistance so you you can't just bum rush people and shoot from the hip. That would make MIDA be used like a scout rifle without breaking the gun. However bungie does have a tendency of over nerfing things

There's a difference between "overused" and "overpowered." Mida has been the same since the game came out. It's only good at what it does in mid to far engagements. Compared to the Suros/Thorn/Last Word/Shotgun/Pulse Rifle meta the game has had the Mida is tame. Personally I think the only reason it's so popular right now is because there aren't any other viable weapons because of all the nerfs to all the weapon types and poor perk rolls for weapons now. Hand cannons are still somewhat inconsistent, autos are still just lacking all around, pulses got nerfed hard (although I think they're still good.) The only thing left are scouts and even then there aren't very many good scout rifles in the game, let alone good scouts with viable perks. You need very specific perks to make most weapons usable now which is unfortunate. Bungie just needs to do a better job with balancing the other weapons or take a look at the weapon perks rather than nerf something else, that in my opinion, does not need nerfing.

It should not be Nerfed. It is an exotic and would suck if not for its base stats. The perks on it are crap that I don't even use.

I find the higher the aim assist, the bigger pain in the ass it is to target especially multiple enemies .
