I laugh at the Hawksaw.
I understand why people love the Hawksaw. It's got beastly base stats, and you don't need to do much to make it godly.
But trust me, once I get a Lyudmila-D with Counterbalance, a good secondary perk(Hidden Hand/Rangefinder/Full Auto) and either Hand-Laid Stock or Braced Frame, I'm gonna be laughing as I two- or three-burst all the Hawksaws in my path.
Hawksaw fires in three round bursts and hits for 27 crits on average. That's 81 damage if all shots are headshots.
Lyudmila-D fires in four round bursts, because it's Hakke, and hits for around 33 on headshots. That's 132 damage if all shots are headshots.

The spread is too large to consistently get a two burst kill with the Lyudmila, even with Counterbalance. And in the time it takes to three burst, a faster firing pulse like Nirwen's Mercy or The Villainy can get three bursts in.

Hawksaw will cause you more flinch because of its Rapid fire. You better hit first. That's what makes these Pulse Rifles so powerful. Also, full auto on lyudmilla when it has such a slow RoF is a waste.

4 RisposteMy Gunsmith package Lyudmila has Headseeker and some stability perk [on my Hunter]. Compared the stats with Messenger and they were the same with the exception of Lyu had more stability.

1 RispondiFunny thing. Reflection Sum? Nirwen's Mercy? Those two can ALMOST two shot. They leave just a sliver of health after two bursts. I got a Lyudmila-D with Counterbalance and Army of One from Armsday today, went into the Crucible and I was able to 2 burst enemies, and most of the shots weren't headshots.

4 RisposteI actually think the gun you have described doesn't exist. I have yet to see a video or even someone killing me with the gun you have described. Furthermore, weapon smith has yet to put counterbalance and braced frame together. It's starting to defy odds.

dont forget the hakke's shoot 4 shots...and I scored one with super high range,near perfect stability and impact that is 7x the bad juju...needless to say its my go to gun...even in raids its way better than the scout rifles...as long as you have gauntlets with pulse reload as thats its only weak spot.
