No. That has rarely happened to me but every time I snipe someone out of a super I get annoyed. It shouldn't happen. It's not fair. I hate it. A lot. Grrrr thinking about makes me angry.

  • What isn't fair about it? What it comes done to is the amount of armor needed to survive it. It almost every case, if you have enough armor to survive that shot (which does over 400 damage) you have too much armor. Supers should be extremely frustrating to deal with, but not impossible. It is extremely hard to snipe any super in the face, and should kill when it happens (obviously taking into account the impact of the weapon.)

  • It should take more then one shot. What's unfair about it? It hardly a fair fight. You shouldn't be able to be knocked out of your super that easy. I see posts all the time saying "just snipe them it's really easy" you shouldn't be able to get rid of it so easily. If it's supposed to be frustrating to deal with then being able to one shot them takes that away.

    Are you seriously saying that it is "easy" to snipe someone in super in the head? Really? People putting those posts are biting on more then they can chew, it is not easy, by any means (whenever someone says that, look at their head shot accuracy with snipers.) Making so you die in one head shot from a high impact sniper would not change the flow of your super. It happens to rare for you to feel the effects of it very often. Since that is the case, it should kill. I have yet to be sniped out of my hammer of sol (and there are those who tried) it is extremely difficult.

  • It might not happen to often but when people try it happens to easily. The times I have actually tried to do it it wasn't that hard. I haven't been sniped out of my Hammer of Sol either and people have tried. It should be that difficult for all the supers not just Sunbreaker.

  • If it wasn't that hard, then you are probably at a safe distance from the user. The range factor comes into effect then. Snipers suffer from damage fall off now. So it would be possible to survive if they are not within the range were the damage is maxed. Otherwise, if it was simple and you are not at a safe distance, they the user doesn't have very good surrounding awareness and isn't moving around enough. If someone ran into a choke point and is sniped in the face, they deserve to die. You need to use your super it a more strategic manner. Agree to disagree here man. One thing I will guarantee is HOS will be getting an armor reduction during the next balancing patch (although I don't think is necessary outside a high impact sniper shot or a GG shot.)

  • Why would someone try to snipe when they're close to the person they want to shoot. Of course it's going to be difficult if you're close up. The damage fall of with any decent sniper unless you're on the latter maps like First Light won't effect to much. I will agree to disagree although I won't guarantee anything just yet. I can see them adjusting it to where you can't survive Golden Gun shots. But sniper headshots aren't that big of a deal to them. They'll probably buff the damage Golden Gun does instead of reducing armor.

    Golden Gun's current damage is almost identical to headshots from a high impact sniper. Just a final point to be made. Also, seeing fallout damage to below 400 even on smaller maps has happened to me quite often. In that range, it would be survivable.

    That's why they need to bring up Golden Gun up just 5 points more. I don't know what sniper you're using but that hasn't happened to me even on medium sized maps like Twilight Gap. It always stays up like 452 headshot using Defiance of Yasmin.
