Three of coins limited to certain exotics?
Hi! Does anyone feel that three of coins is limited to certain exotics, I don't believe it drops heavy engrams EVER, I've also had around 13-15 primary engrams and never had a red death or bad juju, has anyone ever had any of these items from them?

1 RispondiJesus you're lucky. I've had 1 primary 3 special and 11 armor engrams. The only new y2 exotics I got out of all of that was hereafter x2 and impossible machines x2. Everything else was y2 versions of old exotics...and then duplicates of the same things over and over. This whole "higher chance to drop things you don't have yet" is complete bullshit from my experience so far.

I've been having terrible luck these past few days, but today- BINGO! Light beyond Nemesis, claws of Ahamkara, Zhalo, Don't touch me- a lot of gauntlets, really, but w/e. It only took about 30-40 3oC.......

It's because the game has becoming frustrating in ways u get exotics where before u relied purely on rng and raids for unique weapons now most are tied to stupid quests or secret missions only think I dislike about this game so far. I don't want a secret on how to get an exotic just be rng or tell me how to get. When I heard about black spindle all it did was irritate me. Wait for god knows how long for a daily to appear... Hope I have the day off along with 3 others, Have to you tube where it is... Plus heard it's nearly impossible just to get a gun a will vault in 3 months if not sooner lol

I have gotten several duplicate armor pieces. Also weapon duplicates include 2 Suros, 2 4th horseman's, 2 telesto, 2 last words and a Monte Carlo. No heavies dropped at all. Also it isn't the three of coins that are limited armor wise its the armor. You can only get 1 chest piece per character cuz that is all that's in the game. No boots are in the game at all!!! If you go to the armory and look at all exotic armor their are year 2 versions of all year one exotics and they all can be obtained thru the taken king and sold by Xur. So when the hell are they going to be in the loot pool? If they hold them all back for the next dlc it is literally false advertising.

1 RispondiCorrect, not all exotics drop. Kotaku did an article on this last week and Bungie advised the loot tables are limited.

4 RisposteI've done around 60+ strikes and got tons of armour, but I've had 1 (yes god dammit 1) primary exotic and got a jade rabbit, I really need more primarys :(

The loot table is small now. Lots of Y1 exotics taken out and most of the Y2 exotics are part of quest rewards. You're going to get dupes.

Then empyrean bellicose, helm of inmost light, helm of saint-14 and celestial nighthawk. Funny thing is i opened all on my hunter and 3/4 helmets were for titan. Really wanted that graviton forfeit.

I heard the exotics you can get from engrams are set for however long and they change on a timed basis (presumably a week). So for example this week might have truth and next week might have thunderlord as a potential from heavy engrams
