whats the point of playing pvp anymore?
As a mainly pve player I would spend HOURS in pvp trying to get crucible marks ffor better guns and gear but now I have literaly zero reason to play. of course I know its supposed to be fun and it is but after the 3rd match and not really getting anything it gets boring fast. anyone else feel this way?

Outside of quests and 15 daily marks, nothing. Almost no practical rewards, no exp needed after 40, etc. Bungie has a problem of keeping stuff relevant: eg iron banner post house of wolves. It was only worth time if you needed the etheric light. Gear was under lvl 36 so it was pointless. Same now, watch them only be 160/170 def.
