BUNGIE - PLEASE MAKE ETHERIC LIGHT EASIER TO GET!!!
Since DLC, only gotten 4 of them. It's way easier to upgrade exotics than it is legendaries, because I can use 13 motes of light to buy exotic gloves from xur and break down for a exotic shard, or spend 7 strange coins and just buy one. Please have xur sell etheric light as well, maybe 13 strange coins, or 2 exotic shards, etc.... something!!!

2 RisposteI don't share your concern on this one... In fact the opposite... Reaching top light level and having guns at top damage levels is supposed to be hard. Raids were the only way you could achieve top light and get the best stuff... Now it's handed out like candy. Per character etheric light IB = 2 POE 34 = 1x wk POE 35 = 1x wk Trials = 2x wk Nightfall I average 1x wk I'm leveling stuff just for the hell of it now. Guns I rarely use and extra gear for different perks to swap into and I still have 10 light in the bank and I still have some POE to do this week. Sidenote.... I don't even do Trials because I don't have a team but it doesn't even matter because etheric light is so easy to get. Plus they give you top light level gear for just running the 32 PoE or winning 5 games Trials.... How messed up is that?

Wow. I saw the exact opposite post yesterday. He wanted the etheric light to only be rewarded in 35 poe and in ToO. Taken away from nightfall and 34 poe

I have all VoG, crota, and a faction set ascended and all my weapons, because I work for it. I have 20+ sitting in my vault collecting dust.

4 RisposteOk, so let's pretend you like PvE, that's 2 week per character. Sure, that's not a whole lot, but that's still 10 Etheric light per character. Now you do ToO. You get an etheric light for both the silver and gold package, then another when you go flawless. Then there is always that small chance that you can get one in the nightfall, but let's not count that. Finally once a month you can buy 10 from Lord saladin for 5k glimmer at rank 3 and 5. All in all that 2+3+.5= 5.5 a week (the .5 comes from averaging out the IB ones each week through the month) per character. Considering the DLC has been out 6 weeks, that's 33 Etheric light with one character. Sure, you may not be the most active, but with the oppurtunity of getting 33 and only having gotten 4 shows a complete lack of interest. That means you ran the lv 34 and 35 PoE a combined 4 times. It's not that they are hard, you just aren't motivated. With 3 characters that's 99 etheric lights you could have obtained since the DLC dropped.. So we all should be rolling in it after upgrading literally everything. But we don't do everything every week.

Its already easy. I've only got 1 from trials so far and I've still had plenty.

It's not the light that's hard to get but dealing with the lfg headache and crappy teammates in order to even try. I don't want to spend an hour finding a game for them only to suck and not have mic and quit immediately. These issues are what ruin the overall experience for me. I'd like to play but there is to much hassle for the end game and too many variables I can't control that can make it take much longer than it needs and it simply isn't worth it given the state of the game.

Please don't make them easier to get. It's already starting to pile up like ascendant shards of old.

Seriously?? I know people that have a lot more but i have five sat in the vault (along with a whole bunch of weapon and armor cores) and i don't have a weapon (that has not already been ascended) that i feel is worthy of an EL. I Don't play ToO so all mine came from PoE so that's six per week on all characters and, if you're lucky, a cheeky extra or two from nightfall. How many do you need??

I think it's too easy to get, I think it should be a RNG drop in POE and Trials instead of a guaranteed drop with each charachter. Once you get your armor set, and the guns you use most ascended, Etheric Light loses its value!!!

If a person were to only do poe 34 with each character, you could get 3 etheric light per week. Do skolas on each and you can get 3 more. That's a possible 6 per week. 34 is easy and skolas isn't too hard either. Etheric light is not that difficult to get. You just have to put forth some effort

3 RisposteIf they make it easier to get the average targeted play time will decrease, average interest in the game will decline, and they won't be able to keep those meat hooks in you to buy the Taken King. They're not going to do it until AFTER they release the expansion so newer players can get through the old content faster, so that they can grind on the new content. Even if you do get upgraded faster, what then? There's nothing more for you to do maxed out than you're already doing in order to get maxed out. Matter of fact there's even less because then you'll not even have the goal of getting maxed out to do any of that shit for. It's a treadmill, you're just running in place, and even if you get to the end of the treadmill, there's nothing there that you a haven't already been doing all along. Like a little hamster on a wheel, frustrated that it's not getting to it's destination.

They are too easy to get as it is. I have over 40* and have had agonist 80+ total.

I've gotten like 15 a week, even more during iron banner. If you're not very good at the game there's at least 3 you can get with one hand tied behind your back by doing the 34 PoE with all three of your characters. And you can do that even as a level 33. Get to 6 wins in trials and you can get 1 more with each character (6 wins is more like 4 with the buffs and you can afford to get up to 3 losses if you buy the mercy, so you just need a little luck and some decent teammates).
