Should thorn's magazine size be reduced to 6?
damage dot should stay at 7
Remove final round perk.
Also I'm not complaining about the weapon. I just want to see more variety of weapons in trials of Osiris.
I've been to the lighthouse many times it's easy AF. All I'm saying is I would like to see people use other weapons.

When the buffed thorn they only increased the mag (which kinda made it worse final round) and it's handling and auto aim. The damage and dot were always the same take away those buffs and restore auto rifles and problem solved

Just restore it to its former glory and all the scrubs will stop using it.

The burn shouldn't be able to kill you, just put you to one hp and keep you there until the effect wears off

2 RisposteBurn needs redone. If you KILL the target before it kills you the burn should STOP. OR nerf the burn damage. The gun is OP. Enough said. Anyone that disagrees obviously uses the gun and won't know what to do without it

DoT needs removing from pvp or the gun needs a lower impact so it takes 3 headshots+Dot to kill.

3 RisposteLower the clip to 7 make the reload speed slower there you go you get screwed if you spam it and it makes it so you have to get headshots. Thorns a joke im sorry i dont wgine about guns but that gun is a giant joke atm. I use it in trials only if the other team has 2 on which is almost every match the guns broken and needs a re spec. No one uses final round on it its useless 9 rounds makes it pointless. Get rid of your crutches

Do you remember the thorn pre-patch? You know, the one everyone complained about because it sucked and there was no reason to use it over even legendary's? Too slow to reload, too hard to handle, and 6 rounds werent enough for the cylinder. Nobody used it. I was on this subreddit since around week 2. Ive seen all the trends on weapons and armor. Ive seen all the complaints and opinions. I remember the outcry of how Thorn was so hard to get (at the time) and yet it was a terrible gun and there really was no reason to use it over many other guns...many even deleted the bounty when they got it. Same with Bad JuJu. SO what did Bungie do? They listened to the masses. They buffed Thorn. But Ive used Thorn since week 2. It was hard to play with..even in the Crucible. And it was outmatched by many other guns. The buffs were great. And they were needed. These were the buffs. Thorn Projectiles now briefly highlight targets on impact Mark of the Devourer DoT (damage-over-time) upgrade increased against PvE enemy targets Reload Speed increased Magazine Size increased Ammo inventory size increased Stability and Weapon Handling increased The only thing i see here that would have made somewhat of a difference in the crucible between yesteryear and today is the stability. The damage, range (trade off between high stability/low stability), fire rate, and DoT have not changed. What you are seeing today are just more Thorns. And because the word is out and the current trend is to hate them, everyone is putting more attention towards your screen turning green when hit by it. And you are seeing more of them because Thorn is one of your top HC's for PvP. And HC's are around more because the bread and butter of all FPS's, the auto rifle, absolutely sucks now. Bungie needs to rethink their auto rifle balance...not the other guns...because then you will have more VARIETY in the Crucible again. I guess if Bungie wanted to adjust Thorn they could do so with touching only the DoT or adjusting only the stability. Anyway that's just my two cents. Edit: Seems the consensus is that the DoT is OP, range is OP, stability is OP, magazine size is OP, fire rate is OP, and the reload speed is OP. The only thing you can do to this gun to not break its use in PvE is drop its range. Although its base range is in all actuality fine. The "Send It" perk should probably be reduced and in addition reduce stability even more.

They will have to nerf TLW and Thorn for people to use other weapons.

Instead of asking for yet another nerf, just ask for the previously nerfed weapons to be rebuffed. All this "please nerf this weapon" is what caused thorn to be OP.

3 RisposteThis the same tear filled bullshit that got auto rifles nerfed to shit. Know what that got you? Everyone moved to hand cannons. Those who had it moved to thorn or TLW. Now you're complaining too many people use hand cannons, too many use thorn, too many use TLW. They'll most likely turn those to trash too now to satisfy the PvP crowd making them garbage in PvE as well. Everyone will then move to scout rifles. You'll bitch "so many scout rifles", Mida is op please nerf, everyone uses scout rifles we need more diversity. This will go on ad nauseum until we are throwing bullets by hand. So stop. Just. Stop. If you don't like a weapon, don't use it. Don't like the weapon others have chosen? Tough you don't get to choose what someone else can use.
