Is Icebreaker worth it?
I've heard a lot about how great this gun is for PvE, especially raids. Since I'm just starting to pick up raiding, the gun would probably be really useful. The problem is that 17SC is all of my currency. Is Icebreaker worth it?
Edit 1: Thanks for all the advice guys! The general consensus is that IceBreaker is a must have, so I'll buy it later today.
Edit 2: Bought it, and used it on the Daily. It was awesome.

2 RisposteNope. I dismantled it and use No Land Beyond. Soloing Crota on Hard is so easy.

No question about it. And upgrade it too. I'm honestly astonished at the amount of people I see with unupgraded guns. Not just guns they are in the process of leveling up, but guns like the icebreaker that they've had for a couple months and just leave them unupgraded indefinitely.

I think it's more of a buy than a pass, but Black Hammer has negated some of Icebreaker's usefulness, especially in high end PvE content.

I never use any of my 331 ice breakers, I only use black hammer. Ice breaker is not all it's cracked up to be. It's only good for regenerating ammo. It shoots slow as shot and I would rather have g horn as my exotic. Fang, black hammer and g horn is what I usually run.

No, a sniper with high-ish impact and regenerating ammo is never worth it.

Yes. No other answer means anything. Infinite rooftop camper. Easy solo'ing weapon even on a Juggler event.
