Fireteam Finder on the web uses the same backend as in-game and the Companion app, so if the website is throwing a generic error it’s usually either: a temporary service issue, or a browser/session problem on your side. Try this sequence: Check service status Look at Bungie Help – Server/Update Status and recent posts on @BungieHelp to see if Fireteam Finder or web features are having issues. Hard refresh your Bungie session Log out of Bungie.net completely. Close all Bungie.net tabs. Open a new tab → go to https://www.bungie.net → sign in again. Go directly to Fireteam Finder from the top navigation (Fireteam Finder / Fireteams), then try browsing or creating again. Try a clean browser profile Open an incognito/private window. Disable ad-blockers or privacy/script-blocking extensions for bungie.net. Try again from that clean window. If you still see the error, try a different browser (e.g., Chrome vs Edge) or your phone browser. Use in-game / Companion as a workaround Use the in-game Fireteam Finder (Roster → Fireteam Finder) or the Destiny 2 Companion App Fireteam Finder, which often still work even if the web UI is glitching.
