I got Heirloom to drop…
Now what? Anything this weapon is particularly good at? Worth the exotic slot?

The only positive I can find for it is that it’s so bad that it’s pretty likely Bungie will give it a significant buff at some point and then it might actually be good.

It's good at giving you a smidgen of glimmer when you dismantle it.

Close range: take Jotuun or lord of wolves instead Long range: take Icebreaker instead

5 RisposteGG's on getting the Heirloom exotic. Now focus for the Catalyst and run the dungeon again. If you're lucky, it'll drop in the 1st encounter. Nevermind the complaint committee. The weapon is solid but crossbows need a little more love before they become the meta. Especially with the inflated difficulty in the game presently.

Exotics means nothing in this game. They hand them out like candy and with this mindset of constantly adding 2+ exotics each season, they truly can't be creative or unique. There are so many exotics that could be turned into a legendary.

3 RisposteIt's fun but not good. in endgame content a single fully charged shot can kill a red bar but takes like 2-3 to kill a major. The explosion caused by the fully charged shot can maybe kill something like a dreg but things like red bar vandals and stuff tend to lose only half their health meaning the explosion doesn't do enough damage to make it an ad clearing gun. And for single targets even when fully charged it doesn't do good enough damage. I think a single champion took me about 5 fully charged shots to kill when New Land only needed 3 shots starting without any stacks. It can work pretty well for ad clearing in low tier content as it does have I think the biggest blast radius of any gun in the game and in low tier content it basically always one shots red bars with the explosion.

Tbh even if it was legendary it wouldnt be worth using it lmao. I cant find a single quality for this gun. Idk how you can make an exotic THAT bad, while also feeling terrible to use.

You could do the Chewbacca noise while you make em splode? Thats worth the exotic slot in my book
