I thought it was cool, it looked more polished than the EoF, the new destination feels (to be seen in game) more complete in terms of post campaign replayability compared to EoF where the Sieve is underwhelming.
New guns, new armors, new mechanics / abilities, new game modes coming to the portal (6player PvE…).
Also, while problematic at launch the Nether with no health regen became quite appreciated. So it all depends how they balance the new mode.
I don’t know what you were expecting but so far I haven’t had any red flag, and I don’t expect them to share any of the main plot and campaign stuff of course.

I wasn't expecting them to show much of the campaign either. But people were already apprehensive about this DLC solely because it's a Star Wars collab. Throw in how the new activities had a lot of things that people have complained about and even heavily disliked in the past, and this DLC is not making a strong first impression.

It did not make a strong impression on you, I had a different take. It’s a shame to see so many people eager to see the next expansion fail for a game they love.

I don’t get it either outside of them wanting to see retribution to drive Bungie to be better. Other than that I haven’t played Destiny in a couple months but I eagerly await the new expansion and changes and I’ll give it a shot. Dungeons are always fun but we will see what the campaign is like and what they’ve done for the grind/replayability. If they -blam!- that up I’ll hit up the dungeon once or twice check any endgame and dip until the next expansion or funeral.

Bro you haven’t been paying attention to the Destiny “community” very long if this surprises you. These guys treat Destiny like a psycho ex girlfriend who cheated on them with their own dad or brother or son or something else ridiculous… absolutely the most toxic group of people you will ever be exposed to. Dylan (host) got lambasted last week for being excited he got to do today’s stream on his bday.

I liked the presentation. It looks like it's going to be really hard in the beginning. Figuring out what works and what doesn't is going to break a lot of people. I'm looking forward to trying at least. I don't know if I'll like it.... but im definitely going to play it.
