not really, this is simple how you make a good game, having a better gear every dlc/ season but you can stil use the old gear,

To make a good game, you make good story content ,good activities, good replayability that respects the players' time sunk into it Sunsetting is none of these and since older armor cannot be upgraded this is sunsetting aka not respecting the players time in game which they have done before, just an excuse by bungie to bring out a dlc for premium price that has less content than most previous dlcs ,by giving us armor to chase instead Tbh it's my fault for sticking round this long with d2 ,it's not like I didn't see the red flags like when they said we cannot create new ritual playlist armor (creating content is hard ) then a month later eververse is full of new armors to buy and has been updated regularly with new armors since
