I’ve said before and I’ll say it again. I want to see a real Halo x Destiny crossover. Real Spartan and UNSC weaponry, like the BR and Magnum that we got. I could see how it’d work too. Titans would get something along the lines of Master Chief or SII Red Team, or possibly even Noble 6. Hunters would probably get SIII Jun from Noble Team. And as for warlocks? Well… 😏 It’s their turn to get the shaft of the deal and they’d probably get something along the lines of Dr. Halsey or the Librarian from Halo 4. But it’d really be great to see this as Destiny 2 has been getting all kinds of crossovers, and it’s been known throughout both games for having Halo Easter eggs.

2 RisposteOne is owned by Sony. The other is owned by MS. Do the math. These two will never play nice. It's not happening.
-
3 RisposteThey already put Master Chief in fortnite, no real reason not to put more Halo stuff into D2. (If it's profitable I don't see microsoft saying no, especially with them starting to put xbox exclusives on ps5 now too)

5 RisposteWarlocks ALWAYS get shafted 😭 First the goofy beetle armour, then the dark wizard armour, now the D&D armour… If ANYTHING, Titans deserve to get shafted this time.

1 RispondiBut yea, just to show how it could possibly be a very great crossover, if not the best, for BOTH parties Bungie AND Microsoft, here’s an outline of what they could possibly do in summary, if not even more than this. For Bungie/Destiny: - Halo Assault Rifle Exotic: Classic AR that uses special ammo. It does significantly more damage if fired from the hip, hence special ammo. It has 32 rounds per mag, with a max extra of 288 to make it iconic like the Halo games. And to appeal to the variation that fans like, have ornaments for it based around the MA40 from Halo Infinite and the MA5D from Halo 5. - More UNSC weapons: Bring in the UNSC sniper rifle, shotgun and smg as legendary weapons. - UNSC themed sparrow/vehicle themed around warthog/mongoose. Maybe even a skin for the tank themed around the Skorpion. - Maybe even a flood like enemy time, which could very well be possible if you’ve seen the end of the Dead Man’s Tale mission. Now for Microsoft’s end: - Titan/Hunter/Warlock armor skins for Spartans in Halo Infinite. Especially skins themed around iconic Destiny characters. - Exotic weapon skins for guns/weapons in Halo Infinite. We’re talking like Ghjallarhorn for the rocket launcher, or the Read Death skin for that newer automatic rifle they added in Infinite. Basically iconic Destiny weapon skins. - Maybe some iconic Destiny pvp maps for Halo Infinite. -Sparrow themed vehicle skin for the ghost maybe.

3 RisposteModificato da Zovek (Adept): 6/2/2024 12:05:51 PMIt'll never happen. When MS were looking at buying bungie they ok'd the use of a few halo guns for the 30th anniversary, bungie even moved the Xbox sign to the top above playstation. Then MS found something out that bungie were hiding, talks ended, the guns were pulled & suddenly the playstation sign in was back on top. Then you got the reskin destiny guns passed off as halo guns.

3 RisposteModificato da The Albraskan: 6/2/2024 5:41:03 AMI remember hearing a rumor back before Bungie announced the 30th Anniversary bundle that the armor ornament sets were suppose to be Halo themed. Titans would have had a Spartan III armor set (Reach), Hunters would have had ODST armor, and Warlocks would have gotten an armor set based on the Arbiter. Obviously we didn’t get the Halo armor sets, but that same rumor was right about other things like the Halo themed weapons and the dungeon bringing back fan favorite Destiny 1 weapons. Also I doubt the chances for another Destiny 2 x Halo crossover is even smaller with Bungie being owned by Sony, or at least partnered with Sony. Also from what I hear, 343 Industries wasn’t really friendly with Bungie back when Bungie was handing the reigns to Halo to 343. But I’ve heard so many things that I don’t even know which of the stuff about Bungie and 343 relations is true or not. But it’s most likely not great.

1 RispondiGross. As you already pointed out, we have already had that. Crossovers are lazy and easy and it makes me pretty irritable that some children seem to think that's a valid waste of resources. The 30th anniversary was at least a solid block of content. This is Destiny and Destiny has had a huge problem lately of not meeting goals and IMO that has everything to do with the fact that Bungie has been wasting time copy/pasting old stuff to feed off b.s. nostalgia from kids who weren't even around for the stuff they claim to be nostalgic about. Bungie would be much better off hiring based on creativity and getting rid of the "bring back X!" crowd.

6 RisposteBuy the 30th Anniversary Pack. It's great.

3 RisposteThey made a South Park episode years ago about these things called member berries, maybe go check it out before you keep getting all nostalgic and getting in the way of progress.

11 RisposteJust play a Titan. It's like having your own much better Spartan right inside Destiny!
