Prismatic
This is a super cool idea, try to implement this in a way that won’t ruin PvP and require the classes to eventually get gutted.

1 RispondiDisagree, let it run wild in both pvp and pve. The only reason anyone from the pvp community is getting upset is because you'll no longer have a good indication of what a player might use just by looking at their subclass. "Oh crap guys, they're using prismatic. Which super do you think they're using??" Honestly, is it so bad to let someone have cards up their sleeve? Even then, most of you competitive scene players use your third party apps to information gather anyway. Balance-wise, these are all abilities already in the game (minus transcendence), most of which are underutilized, and while they're making the synergy lovely that doesn't make these abilities easier to use and actually score kills. Or is it that you're all worried over the sheer variety of debuffs this is going to make possible?

Better it be Stasis 2.0 then be a fart in the wind. PVP is so stale right now that I’d rather it be destroyed and reborn as something else instead of the same old song and dance.

Mabye they could make it so that you have your main subclass and you can pick only one ability from another subclass to swap out for the slot of the ability you have equipped already. This would only be for PvP

It makes sense this way, story wise where the traveler is helping the guardians fight the witness forces and from a game play point of view. Edited2 : I was completely wrong it is a new subclass. Just read the latest.

3 RisposteIm hoping prismatic cannot he used in PvP, while its a fun idea it wont work well outside of PvE. Imagine a warlock placing a rift that freezes and lets out threadlings, or a hunter that suspends and weakens you in a dive or just didges deploying a clone and going invis. The class items also needs to be able to have transmog so we can put legendary ornaments on it, they look so bad otherwise. The double exotic perk idea is also good but could lead to broken builds in PvP so the class item also shouldnt be usable in PvP

After that almost every primary archetype was nerfed in some way and it's been some form of skill based ever since. I'd rather have stasis than a lot of the no primary sbmm ability metas that came after it and prismatic could possibly have to be the same because it looks like sbmm would have a hard time working "right" with all that.
