I make the sauce with chopped tomatoes and a shop bought madras spice paste (yeah I cheat on the sauce). It’s the perfect spicy heat for my taste.
Then I add garlic, red onion, green pepper, cauliflower, courgette, spinach, sweet potato and Quorn pieces (Quorn is a meat substitute).
Serve with rice and a beer.
I’ve made this many times before and it’s always delicious. I purposely skipped lunch so I could have seconds.
Now there’s a gentle and pleasant burning sensation in my mouth. The endorphins and dopamine are kicking in (yeah spicy food does this).
What’s your favourite curry?

5 RisposteI still honestly do not understand what "curry" is supposed to be. It seems like it is the "there, their, they're" of the food world. Is is a main dish, or a sauce? My oldest son explores all kinds of ethnic foods and tries to get me to try some, but I have in my head that curry is always a stupidly hot sauce. Evidently, it is a more broad term that covers all manner of things that are not really based on that premise, making it even more remote for me to want to try it to find out.
